静電集塵器により保持された塵埃の総計=(ファンの速度×空気清浄装置の作動時間×周辺の塵埃レベル)+前回作動時に静電集塵器により保持された塵埃の総計
図2を参照すると、空気清浄装置10の中央処理装置24によるバルブ22の操作手順が示されている。塵埃センサ23および周辺環境の塵埃レベルを用いて、静電集塵器14により収集できる塵埃の量を計算する。静電集塵器14により収集された塵埃の量が所定の値に達すると、中央処理装置24は警告を出して(204)ユーザに静電集塵器を清掃するよう注意を促す。また、中央処理装置24は周辺環境の塵埃レベルを別の所定の値と比較する(205)。塵埃レベルが所定の値より高い場合、バルブ22を開け(208)、反応体生成器16を停止させる。空気は、周辺環境の塵埃レベルが十分なレベルに達するまで、上流位置から下流位置に連続的に引き込まれる(209)。そして、揮発性有機化合物のセンサは、周辺の揮発性有機化合物のレベルを収集する(206)。揮発性有機化合物のレベルに基づいて、それを分解するための反応時間を推定し、空気清浄装置内の排気ファンの速度を適切に調節する(207)。このように、装置10は汚染物質のレベルに応じてインテリジェントに空気を浄化する。
装置600は、筐体607、排気ファン606、本装置で塵埃浄化装置として機能する静電集塵器601、オゾンを放出できるとともにバクテリアを殺菌するのに有効な波長の紫外線を提供し本装置において反応体生成器として機能する紫外線ランプ604、および触媒フィルタリングコアとして機能する密でタイトな分子ふるい603を備えている。触媒フィルタリングコア603の上部に、高効率粒子空気フィルタ602を設置してもよい。紫外線ランプ604を、高効率粒子空気フィルタ602の表面に照射するように向けて、バクテリア殺菌効果を増強してもよい。バルブ605は触媒フィルタリングコアと同一レベルに設置される。塵埃レベルが高いと、バルブ605が開く。空気は触媒フィルタリングコア603を通過することなく外に流れる。従って、空気清浄装置600は、高レベルの粒子の相の汚染物質を優先的に処理する。
Claims (15)
- 粒子の相の汚染物質および気体の相の汚染物質からなる汚染された空気を浄化する装置であって、
前記気体の相の汚染物質を処理する触媒フィルタリングコアと、
開放位置と閉鎖位置との間を移動可能に構成され、内部の気流通路を選択的に制御するバルブと、を備え、
前記汚染された空気中の粒子の相の汚染物質の量が所定の値を超える場合、前記空気が前記触媒フィルタリングコアを迂回できるよう前記バルブが前記開放位置に移動し、
前記汚染された空気中の粒子の相の汚染物質の量が所定の値よりも少ない場合、前記空気の全てが前記触媒フィルタリングコアを通過するように前記バルブが前記閉鎖位置に移動すること
を特徴とする装置。 - 前記汚染された空気から前記粒子の相の汚染物質を除去する塵埃除去部をさらに備え、前記触媒フィルタリングコアが前記塵埃除去部の下流に配置されたことを特徴とする請求項1記載の装置。
- 前記汚染された空気中の粒子の相の汚染物質の量を測定する塵埃レベルセンサをさらに備えたことを特徴とする請求項1記載の装置。
- 化学反応により前記気体の相の汚染物質を処理する触媒フィルタリングコアをさらに備えたことを特徴とする請求項1記載の装置。
- 前記塵埃レベルセンサにより測定された粒子の相の汚染物質の量に応じて前記開放位置から前記閉鎖位置への前記バルブの動作を制御する演算装置をさらに備えたことを特徴とする請求項3記載の装置。
- オゾンを生成するとともに前記汚染された空気中の細菌を殺菌する紫外線光を放射する反応体生成部をさらに備えたことを特徴とする請求項1ないし4のいずれか1項に記載の装置。
- 前記反応体生成部は、前記触媒フィルタリングコアが使用されていない場合に前記反応体生成部により生成されたオゾンの漏出を防ぐため、前記バルブが開放位置にある場合に動作を停止することを特徴とする請求項6記載の装置。
- 前記汚染された空気を吸気口から装置内に取り入れ排気口から排気させる排気ファンをさらに備えたことを特徴とする請求項1ないし4のいずれか1項に記載の装置。
- 前記塵埃除去部は、0.01μm以上の粒径の塵埃を除去する静電集塵器または高効率粒子空気フィルタからなることを特徴とする請求項1ないし4のいずれか1項に記載の装置。
- 前記触媒フィルタリングコアは、分子ふるいフィルタまたは二酸化チタンフィルタからなることを特徴とする請求項1ないし4のいずれか1項に記載の装置。
- 前記反応体生成部は、オゾンを生成できる紫外線殺菌ランプ、または酸化体生成器からなることを特徴とする請求項6記載の装置。
- 高効率粒子空気フィルタが前記分子ふるいフィルタの上流に配置されたことを特徴とする請求項10記載の装置。
- 空気中の揮発性有機化合物の濃度を測定する臭気レベルセンサをさらに備え、
前記濃度の測定の結果は、前記演算部に提供されて前記汚染された空気を引き込む排気ファンの速度を決定すること
を特徴とする請求項5記載の装置。 - 前記バルブは、ユーザにより手動で調整可能に構成されたことを特徴とする請求項1ないし4のいずれか1項に記載の装置。
- 塵埃除去部、触媒フィルタリングコア、および、開放位置および閉鎖位置の間を移動可能に構成され内部の気流の通路を選択的に制御するバルブを備えた清浄装置を用いた空気浄化方法であって、
空気中の粒子の相および気体の相の汚染物質を除去し、
周囲の塵埃レベルが所定の量よりも高い場合に、前記バルブを前記開放位置に制御して前記清浄装置内の前記気流の通路を制御し、前記空気を前記触媒フィルタリングコアから迂回させ、
周囲の塵埃レベルが所定の量よりも低い場合に、前記バルブを前記閉鎖位置に制御して前記清浄装置内の前記気流の通路を制御し、前記空気の全てを前記触媒フィルタリングコアに通過させること
を特徴とする空気浄化方法。
