Description
本出願は、2007年3月15日出願の「High-Speed, Sleeved

Claims (11)
- 電気機械において、
電気機械のハウジング内に配置されたステータであって、前記ステータの第1の端部に第1の複数のエンド・ターンを有し、前記ステータの反対側の第2の端部に第2の複数のエンド・ターンを有する巻線を含み、ほぼ管状の形状と内部側面とを有するステータと、
前記ステータの内側を通って延びるロータと、
前記第1のエンド・ターン近くの前記ハウジング内の第1の容積を画定する第1の仕切りと、
前記第1のエンド・ターン近くの、前記ハウジングの第1の容積への流れ入口であって、前記内部側面の径方向外側に配置された第1の流れ入口と、
前記第1のエンド・ターン近くの、前記第1の容積からの第1の流れ出口とを備える電気機械であって、前記第1の流れ出口が、前記内部側面の径方向外側に配置された第1の仕切りを貫く第1の口を備え、前記流体の流れを前記第1のエンド・ターンの径方向外面上の第1の点から前記ステータの前記第1の端部を実質的に横断して前記流れ出口まで流体の流れを送るように、前記第1の流れ入口と前記第1の流れ出口とを協働可能に配置し、
さらに前記第2のエンド・ターン近くの前記ハウジング内の第2の容積を画定する第2の仕切りと、
前記第2のエンド・ターン近くの前記第2の容積内への第2の流れ入口であって、前記内部側面の半径方向外側に位置する第2の流れ入口と、
前記第2のエンド・ターン近くの前記第2の容積からの第2の流れ出口であって、この第2の流れ出口は、前記内部側面の半径方向外側に位置する第2の仕切を通過する第2のポートを備えており、
前記第2の流れ入口と前記第2の流れ出口とは、協調的に配置されて、前記第2のエンド・ターンの半径方向外面上の第2の点からの第2の流れを実質的に前記ステータの第2の端部を実質的に横切って前記第2の流れ出口に移動させるようにする電気機械。 - 前記第1の流れ入口と前記第2の流れ入口とが単一の冷却流体源と流体連通する、請求項1に記載の電気機械。
- 電気機械において、
電気機械のハウジング内に配置されたステータであって、前記ステータの第1の端部に第1の複数のエンド・ターンを有し前記ステータの反対側の第2の端部に第2の複数のエンド・ターンを有する巻線を含み、ほぼ管状の形状と内部側面とを有するステータと、
前記ステータの内側を通って延びるロータと、
前記第1のエンド・ターン近くの前記ハウジング内の容積を画定する仕切りと、
前記第1のエンド・ターン近くの、前記容積への流れ入口であって、前記内部側面の径方向外側に配置された流れ入口と、
前記第1のエンド・ターン近くの、前記容積からの流れ出口であって、前記流れ出口が前記内部側面の径方向外側に配置された仕切りを貫く口を備え、前記入口と前記出口が、前記第1のエンド・ターンの径方向外面上の第1の点から前記ステータの前記第1の端部を実質的に横断して前記流れ出口まで流体の流れを送るように協働可能に構成される、電気機械において、
前記流れ入口が第1の流れ入口を含み、前記電気機械がさらに、第2の流れを、前記ステータのコアを軸方向に分割するマニホルドを介して、前記ステータの前記内部側面と前記ロータの外部側面との間に画定された空隙まで導くように動作可能な第2の流れ入口を備える、電気機械。 - 前記第2の流れ入口が、前記ステータまわりの別々の方位角位置にある複数の流れ入口を含む、請求項3に記載の電気機械。
- 前記第1の流れ入口と前記第2の流れ入口が単一の冷却流体源と流体連通する、請求項3に記載の電気機械。
- 前記第1の流れ入口が第1の冷却源と流体連通し、前記第2の流れ入口が第2の冷却源と流体連通する、請求項3に記載の電気機械。
- 前記第2の流れ入口が流れを前記空隙の軸方向中心まで導くように動作可能であり、前記空隙が前記第1のエンド・ターン近くの容積まで軸方向に延びる、請求項3に記載の電気機械。
- 前記ステータの外部のまわりを冷却するための少なくとも1つの冷却ジャケットを設け、前記少なくとも1つの冷却ジャケットを、前記ステータのまわりに円周方向に冷却液体を循環させるように構成した、請求項1に記載の電気機械。
- 前記少なくとも1つの液冷ジャケットが複数の蛇行流路を画定し、各蛇行流路が前記液冷流体を前記ステータの別の軸方向部分のまわりに循環させて前記ステータの前記軸方向部分を冷却する、請求項8に記載の電気機械。
- 前記少なくとも1つの液冷ジャケットが前記ハウジングから分離可能であり、また前記ステータから分離可能である、請求項8に記載の電気機械。
- 前記ロータと、前記ステータの内部側面とが、前記第1のエンド・ターンのまわりの第1の容積から、前記第2のエンド・ターンのまわりの第2の容積まで延びる空隙を定め、前記空隙が、前記ステータのミッドスタックにおいて付加的流体流れを受け取り、前記付加的流体流れを前記第1の容積内および前記第2の容積内に伝達するように、配置されるようにする請求項1に記載の電気機械。
