Claims (24)
- 無線通信システムにおいて端末(UE)の位置を決定する方法であって、
前記UEが、基準セル及び少なくとも一つの隣接セルに関する情報を含むシステム情報を位置サーバから受信するステップと、
前記UEが、前記基準セル及び前記少なくとも一つの隣接セルから、前記システム情報に基づいて受信した位置決め基準信号(PRS)を用いて、基準信号時間差(RSTD)を送信するステップと、を有し、
前記システム情報は、前記端末がシステムフレーム番号(SFN)を取得できるセルを、前記基準セル又は前記少なくとも一つの隣接セルとして含む、方法。 - 前記端末が前記SFNを取得できる前記セルは、サービス提供セルである、請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記システム情報は、前記少なくとも一つの隣接セルのスロット番号オフセット、RSTD期待値及び前記RSTD期待値の不確実性を含み、
前記スロット番号オフセットは、前記基準セルのスロット番号と前記少なくとも一つの隣接セルのスロット番号との間のオフセットであり、前記RSTD期待値は、前記端末が測定するものと期待されるRSTD値であり、前記RSTD期待値の前記不確実性は、前記RSTD期待値の誤差範囲である、請求項1又は2に記載の方法。 - 前記システム情報は、前記基準セルの前記PRSが送信される時点に関する情報を示すPRS設定インデクス、及び前記少なくとも一つの隣接セルの前記PRSが送信される時点に関する情報を示すPRS設定インデクスを含む、請求項1又は2に記載の方法。
- 前記UEが、前記システム情報を要求するメッセージを前記位置サーバに送信するステップをさらに含む、請求項1又は2に記載の方法。
- 前記UEが、前記システム情報を用いて前記基準セルの前記PRSの到着時刻(TOA)を測定するステップと、
前記UEが、前記システム情報を用いて前記少なくとも一つの隣接セルの前記PRSのTOAを測定するステップと、
前記UEが、前記基準セルの前記PRSの前記測定されたTOA及び前記少なくとも一つの隣接セルの前記PRSの前記測定されたTOAを用いて、前記基準セルに対する前記少なくとも一つの隣接セルの前記RSTDを計算するステップと、をさらに有する、請求項1又は2に記載の方法。 - 前記端末が前記SFNを取得できるセルが前記基準セルであるとき、前記基準セルの前記PRSの前記TOAを測定するステップは、前記UEが、前記基準セルのSFN及び前記システム情報内の前記基準セルのPRS設定インデクスを用いて、前記基準セルの前記PRSを受信するステップを含み、
前記基準セルの前記PRS設定インデクスは、前記基準セルの前記PRSが送信される時点に関する情報を示す、請求項6に記載の方法。 - 前記端末が前記SFNを取得できるセルが前記少なくとも一つの隣接セルであるとき、前記基準セルの前記PRSの前記TOAを測定するステップは、前記UEが、前記システム情報内の前記少なくとも一つのセルに対するスロット番号オフセット、RSTD期待値及び前記RSTD期待値の不確実性を用いて前記基準セルの前記PRSを受信するステップを含み、
前記スロット番号オフセットは、前記基準セルのスロット番号と前記少なくとも一つの隣接セルのスロット番号との間のオフセットであり、前記RSTD期待値は、前記端末が測定するものと期待されるRSTD値であり、前記RSTD期待値の前記不確実性は、前記RSTD期待値の誤差範囲である、請求項6に記載の方法。 - 無線通信システムの位置サーバにおいて端末(UE)の位置決めを支援する方法であって、
前記位置サーバが、基準セル及び少なくとも一つの隣接セルに関する情報を含むシステム情報を前記端末に送信するステップと、
前記位置サーバが、前記端末から、前記システム情報に基づく前記基準セル及び前記少なくとも一つの隣接セルの位置決め基準信号(PRS)を用いて測定した基準信号時間差(RSTD)を受信するステップと、を有し、
前記システム情報は、前記端末がシステムフレーム番号(SFN)を取得できるセルを、前記基準セル又は前記少なくとも一つの隣接セルとして含む、方法。 - 前記端末が前記SFNを取得できる前記セルは、サービス提供セルである、請求項9に記載の方法。
- 前記システム情報は、前記少なくとも一つの隣接セルのスロット番号オフセット、RSTD期待値及び前記RSTD期待値の不確実性を含み、
前記スロット番号オフセットは、前記基準セルのスロット番号と前記少なくとも一つの隣接セルのスロット番号との間のオフセットであり、前記RSTD期待値は、前記端末が測定するものと期待されるRSTD値であり、前記RSTD期待値の前記不確実性は、前記RSTD期待値の誤差範囲である、請求項9又は10に記載の方法。 - 前記システム情報は、前記基準セルのPRSが送信される時点に関する情報を示すPRS設定インデクス、及び前記少なくとも一つの隣接セルのPRSが送信される時点に関する情報を示すPRS設定インデクスを含む、請求項9又は10に記載の方法。
- 前記位置サーバが、前記端末から前記システム情報を要求するメッセージを受信するステップをさらに含む、請求項9又は10に記載の方法。
- 無線通信システムの端末(UE)であって、
基準セル及び少なくとも一つの隣接セルに関する情報を含むシステム情報を位置サーバから受信するように構成された受信モジュールと、
前記システム情報に基づいて前記基準セル及び前記少なくとも一つの隣接セルから受信した位置決め基準信号(PRS)を用いて、基準信号時間差(RSTD)を測定するように構成されたプロセッサと、
前記位置サーバに前記RSTDを送信するように構成された送信モジュールと、を備え、
前記システム情報は、前記端末がシステムフレーム番号(SFN)を取得できるセルを、前記基準セル又は前記少なくとも一つの隣接セルとして含む、端末。 - 前記端末が前記SFNを取得できる前記セルは、サービス提供セルである、請求項14に記載の端末。
- 前記システム情報は、前記少なくとも一つの隣接セルのスロット番号オフセット、RSTD期待値及び前記RSTD期待値の不確実性を含み、
前記スロット番号オフセットは、前記基準セルのスロット番号と前記少なくとも一つの隣接セルのスロット番号との間のオフセットであり、前記RSTD期待値は、前記端末が測定するものと期待されるRSTD値であり、前記RSTD期待値の前記不確実性は、前記RSTD期待値の誤差範囲である、請求項14又は15に記載の端末。 - 前記システム情報は、前記基準セルのPRSが送信される時点に関する情報を示すPRS設定インデクス、及び前記少なくとも一つの隣接セルのPRSが送信される時点に関する情報を示すPRS設定インデクスを含む、請求項14又は15に記載の端末。
- 前記送信モジュールは、前記位置サーバに前記システム情報を要求するメッセージを送信するように構成される、請求項14又は15に記載の端末。
- 無線通信システムの位置サーバであって、
基準セル及び少なくとも一つの隣接セルに関する情報を含むシステム情報を端末(UE)に送信するように構成された送信モジュールと、
前記端末から、前記システム情報に基づく前記基準セル及び前記少なくとも一つの隣接セルの位置決め基準信号(PRS)を用いて測定した基準信号時間差(RSTD)を受信するように構成された受信モジュールと、を備え、
前記システム情報は、前記端末がシステムフレーム番号(SFN)を取得できるセルを、前記基準セル又は前記少なくとも一つの隣接セルとして含む、位置サーバ。 - 前記端末が前記SFNを取得できる前記セルは、サービス提供セルである、請求項19に記載の位置サーバ。
- 前記システム情報は、前記少なくとも一つの隣接セルのスロット番号オフセット、RSTD期待値及び前記RSTD期待値の不確実性を含み、
前記スロット番号オフセットは、前記基準セルのスロット番号と前記少なくとも一つの隣接セルのスロット番号との間のオフセットであり、前記RSTD期待値は、前記端末が測定するものと期待されるRSTD値であり、前記RSTD期待値の前記不確実性は、前記RSTD期待値の誤差範囲である、請求項19又は20に記載の位置サーバ。 - 前記システム情報は、前記基準セルのPRSが送信される時点に関する情報を示すPRS設定インデクス、及び前記少なくとも一つの隣接セルのPRSが送信される時点に関する情報を示すPRS設定インデクスを含む、請求項19又は20に記載の位置サーバ。
- 前記受信モジュールは、前記端末から、前記システム情報を要求するメッセージを受信するように構成される、請求項19又は20に記載の位置サーバ。
- 前記受信されたRSTDを用いて前記端末の位置を決定するように構成されたプロセッサをさらに備える、請求項19又は20に記載の位置サーバ。
