Claims (14)
- 正電極が二酸化マンガンを含み、負電極が亜鉛を含む電気化学セルの電池セル容器として使用するための金属缶であって、

前記缶の閉鎖端部の金属壁に形成され、中心位置から半径方向に延びる少なくとも5つのセグメントを有するように形成された薄厚溝を含む圧力放出通気口と、
を備える、
ことを特徴とする金属缶。 - 前記圧力放出通気口が、前記中心位置から半径方向に延びる少なくとも6つのセグメントを含む、
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の金属缶。 - 前記圧力放出通気口が、8つの実質的に等角に間隔を置いて配置されたセグメントを含むように形成される、
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の金属缶。 - 前記圧力放出通気口が、中心位置から半径方向に延びる8つのセグメントを含む、
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の金属缶。 - 前記薄厚溝が、前記容器の閉鎖端部の内面に形成される、
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の金属缶。 - 少なくとも3つの溶接部を介して前記金属缶の閉鎖端部上に溶接されたカバーを更に備え、2つの隣接する前記溶接部間の角度間隔が120°よりも大きい、
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の金属缶。 - 前記2つの隣接する溶接部間の角度が、120°と240°の間である、
ことを特徴とする請求項6に記載の金属缶。 - 2つの隣接する前記溶接部間の角度間隔が、160°から180°の範囲である、
ことを特徴とする請求項6に記載の金属缶。 - 前記金属缶が、内面上にニッケル及びコバルトのコーティングを有するスチール缶を含む、
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の金属缶。 - 前記金属缶が、実質的に円筒形である、ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の缶。
- 前記圧力放出通気口が、前記中心位置から半径方向に延びる少なくとも6つのセグメントを含む、
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の金属缶。 - 前記カバーが、接触面と、該接触面及び周辺フランジ間の直立壁とを有する突出小塊を含む、
ことを特徴とする請求項6に記載の金属缶。 - 前記請求項1ないし12のいずれか1つの請求項に記載の金属缶を含む金属容器と、
前記容器内に配置された正電極と、
前記容器内に配置された負電極と、
前記容器内に配置された水性アルカリ電解質と、
を備えた、
ことを特徴とする電気化学セル。 - 前記正電極が二酸化マンガンを含み、前記負電極が亜鉛を含む、
ことを特徴とする請求項13に記載の電気化学セル。
