Description
オリゴマー化開始時に、ジャケット中に冷水を流し且つ強く攪拌しながらオレフィン混合物をフラスコに15分間注入した。ガラス小瓶中のAlCl3触媒を反応器に加え、一定量のDI(脱イオン)水を長い注射針を用いてフラスコに注入した。注入されたDI水の量は1モルのAlCl3に対し0.5モルに相当する。上記供給物を連続的に2〜5時間反応器に供給した。必要量の触媒及びDI水を15分おきに添加した。オリゴマー化反応はオレフィン及び触媒添加後、更に1〜3時間進行させた。反応は30℃〜60℃で行われた。
Claims (9)
- ポリアルファオレフィン(PAO)の製造方法であって、100℃(ASTM D-445)において、20cSt〜100cStの粘度及び1000〜4000の数平均分子量を有するPAOを生成するために、15−30重量%の1-ヘキセン、45−70重量%の1-ドデセン及び15−40重量%の1-テトラデセン、選択的にさらに1-オクテンまたは1-デセンを含む供給物であり、オレフィンの重量%は、供給物中の全オレフィン重量合計を100重量%としたものに対する重量%である、供給物を、オリゴマー化条件下で、オリゴマー化反応域においてオリゴマー化触媒と十分な時間接触させることより成る方法。
- 前記PAOが100℃(ASTM D-445)において、40cStの動的粘度、少なくとも145(ASTM D-2270)の粘度指数、及び-39℃(ASTM D-97)以下の流動点を有するように設けられる請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記PAOが100℃(ASTM D-445)において、100cStの動的粘度、少なくとも170(ASTM D-2270)の粘度指数、及び-24℃(ASTM D-97)以下の流動点を有するように設けられる請求項1又は2のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 請求項1乃至3のいずれかに記載の方法であって、反応液を蒸留して未反応の単量体及び二量体を除き、その後、得られる生成物をさらに分離することなく水素化し、オリゴマーを飽和させ、前記PAOを回収するステップをさらに含む方法。
- 前記オリゴマー化触媒がAlCl 3 , AlBr 3 , 臭素、及びこれらの混合物から選ばれる、請求項1乃至4のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 前記オリゴマー化条件が、温度26℃〜60℃及び圧力1大気圧〜50psiaを含む、請求項1乃至5のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 「請求項1乃至6のいずれかに記載の方法により製造されるPAOを、潤滑剤基油として使用する、潤滑剤の調整方法」。
- 請求項1乃至6のいずれかに記載の方法により製造されるPAO。
- 前記少なくとも一つのPAOが1-デセン及び1-ドデセンのC30〜C36三量体、C40〜C48四量体、及びC50〜C60五量体を含むように設けられる、請求項8記載のPAO。
