Claims (10)
- 光ファイバ装置であって、
コアと、クラッドと、前記クラッドの外面に被着されたコーティング材料とを備えた光ファイバであって、前記コーティング材料が該光ファイバ装置に差し向けられた光の一部分を光学的に減衰させるよう構成された、光ファイバと、
該光ファイバ装置に差し向けられた前記光の一部分を選択的に光学的に減衰させるよう、少なくとも該光ファイバ装置に差し向けられた光の一部分の光路の前記コーティング材料の厚さを第1の厚さに減少させることによって形成された光学減衰パターンを有する、
光ファイバ装置。 - 前記第1の厚さは、該光ファイバ装置に差し向けられた前記光の一部分の光学減衰量を制御するように、制御されている、
請求項1記載の光ファイバ装置。 - 前記第1の厚さは、10マイクロメートル(μm)〜200マイクロメートルである、 請求項2記載の光ファイバ装置。
- 前記コーティング材料は、前記クラッドの外面全体に被着されている、
請求項1記載の光ファイバ装置。 - 前記光ファイバの端面は、角度劈開されている、
請求項1記載の光ファイバ装置。 - 前記光学減衰パターンは、リングパターンで構成されている、
請求項1記載の光ファイバ装置。 - 前記光学減衰パターンは、凹状パターンで構成されている、
請求項1記載の光ファイバ装置。 - 前記光学減衰パターンは、該光ファイバ装置に差し向けられた前記光の高次モード部分を光学的に減衰させるよう構成されている、
請求項1記載の光ファイバ装置。 - 前記光学減衰パターンは、該光ファイバ装置に差し向けられた前記光の低次モード部分を光学的に減衰させるよう構成されている、
請求項1記載の光ファイバ装置。 - 前記光学減衰パターンは、該光ファイバ装置に差し向けられた前記光の少なくとも一つの発散角の部分を光学的に減衰させるよう構成されている、
請求項1記載の光ファイバ装置。
