Description
ジャロサイトおよび元素状態の硫黄を含む廃棄物残渣のろ過ケーキを水簸反応器で水簸して均質なスラリとなった。廃棄物残渣の含水率は39%であった。このスラリを水簸反応器から安定化反応器に120 l/hでポンプ輸送し、安定化反応器に29 kg/hの固体の水酸化カルシウムを供給した。水酸化カルシウムの供給中、8 l/hの水を安定化反応器に供給した。安定化反応器の有効容積は30 dm3であった。安定化を常温で行なった。連続運転を5時間行なった。運転中、形成された200 lの安定化された廃棄物を樽に集めた。運転中の安定化された廃棄物のサンプルを採取した。安定化された材料を平台上に移し、そこで材料の挙動を観察した。材料は一晩で固まらせることができた。材料は固まり、これから水は出て来なかった。割れた硬化片中に鉄残渣および中和剤の個々の粒子は識別できなかった。固まり安定化した廃棄物粘土にEU標準EN-12457-3による溶解度試験を行なった。試験結果は、EU指令で定められた有害廃棄物の限界値を下まわっていた。
本実施例では、上述の試験操作の1つを繰り返したが、違いは、本発明による安定化反応器をスクリュミキサに取り替えたことであった。結果は、塊だらけで不均質な廃棄物となり、未反応の石灰が明らかに認められた。

- 湿式冶金プロセスで発生し少量の溶解性重金属を含む鉄含有残渣を中和剤によって安定した形態に転換させる方法において、該方法は、
−前記残渣をまず水簸する工程と、

- 請求項1に記載の方法において、前記中和剤は、前記安定化反応器にスラリ状で供給することを特徴とする方法。
- 請求項1に記載の方法において、前記中和剤はカルシウムおよび/またはマグネシウム化合物であることを特徴とする方法。
- 湿式冶金プロセスで発生し少量の溶解性重金属を含む鉄含有残渣を中和剤によって安定した形態に転換させ、これによってまず残渣が反応器中で水簸される装置において、該水簸された残渣は少なくとも1つの安定化または均質化反応器に供給され、該反応器の上部分は円筒形であり、該反応器の上部分には案内板が配置され、該案内板は、該反応器の縁部から斜めに内側へ向いてスラリ流を案内し、該反応器の直径の3〜8%の距離だけ内側に伸び、また前記反応器の下部分は下方に向かって狭くなる円錐様の形状であり、前記残渣と中和剤が前記反応器の上部分に供給され、均質な粘土が該反応器の下部分から取り出され、前記反応器はミキサを備え、該ミキサは、シャフトの周りに円を描く少なくとも2つのらせん状バーを含み、該らせん状バーは支持アームによって前記シャフトに支持され、前記らせん状バーは互いに対称的に配置され、ミキサ径の前記安定化反応器の直径に対する比は0.75〜0.99であることを特徴とする装置。
- 請求項5に記載の装置において、前記ミキサは2つの部分から構成され、これによって上部ミキサ部分は、前記らせん状バーの前記シャフトからの距離が該ミキサ部分の全高を通して同じであって、前記安定化反応器の円筒部に配置され、前記下部ミキサ部分は、前記らせん状バーの前記シャフトからの距離が前記ミキサの底部に向かって円錐状に小さくなり、前記反応器の下方に向かって狭くなる円錐様形状部分に配置されていることを特徴とする装置。
- 請求項5または6に記載の装置において、前記らせん状バーを異なる高さに支持する前記支持アームの数は4ないし8であることを特徴とする装置。
- 請求項6に記載の装置において、前記上部ミキサ部分および下部ミキサ部分のらせん状バーは互いに偏位していることを特徴とする装置。
- 請求項5または6に記載の装置において、前記らせん状バーは前記シャフトの周りに円を0.5ないし2回描くことを特徴とする装置。
- 請求項5または6に記載の装置において、前記らせん状バーの水平に対するピッチ角は15〜45°、好ましくは25〜35°であることを特徴とする装置。
- 請求項5または6に記載の装置において、前記ミキサ内の前記支持アームは、前記ミキサまたはミキサ部分における前記支持アームの位置に応じて水平に対して0〜65°の角度であることを特徴とする装置。
- 請求項5または6に記載の装置において、前記ミキサの直径の前記安定化反応器の直径に対する比は0.85〜0.95であることを特徴とする装置。
