Claims (6)
- 共振キャビティに3電極高周波増幅素子を集積化し、該3電極高周波増幅素子の動作により負性抵抗を発生させRF帯での発振が生ずると同時に、該共振キャビティが、電磁波を空間へ放射するアンテナ機能を果たす放射型発振器を構成し、
前記3電極高周波増幅素子を短時間動作させることにより短時間の負性抵抗を得て、この短時間の負性抵抗と前記共振キャビティの構造に基づいて定まる発振周波数及び周波数帯域幅の高周波パルス信号を発生すると同時に空間へ放射するようにしたことを特徴とするパルス信号発生装置。 - 前記放射型発振器の3電極高周波増幅素子における3電極は、被制御電流流入電極と被制御電流流出電極と制御電極であり、
被制御電流流入電極または被制御電流流出電極にモノパルス信号を供給し、このモノパルス信号自体の電力を電源電力として短時間の負性抵抗を得るようにしたことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のパルス信号発生装置。 - 前記放射型発振器の3電極高周波増幅素子における3電極は、被制御電流流入電極と被制御電流流出電極と制御電極であり、
被制御電流流入電極または被制御電流流出電極に直流を供給し、制御電極にはモノパルス信号を供給することで、短時間の被制御電流が流れるようにし、短時間の負性抵抗を得るようにしたことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のパルス信号発生装置。 - 前記放射型発振器に、モノパルス信号発生回路を集積化したことを特徴とする請求項2又は請求項3に記載のパルス信号発生装置。
- 前記放射型発振器の放射面から適宜距離を隔てて配置され、所要周波数の電波を選択的に濾波する周波数選択性濾波手段を備えたことを特徴とする請求項1〜請求項4の何れか1項に記載のパルス信号発生装置。
- 前記放射型発振器の放射方向側に、放射する高周波パルス信号の周波数より低い周波数の不要信号成分の漏洩を防止する接地導体構造を設けたことを特徴とする請求項1〜請求項5の何れか1項に記載のパルス信号発生装置。
