Description

この実施例は、サイジング剤配合剤のガラス繊維への塗布を示す。
出願当初の特許請求の範囲は以下のようであった。
[請求項1]
(1)溶媒中に遷移金属ナノ粒子の分散を含んだナノ粒子溶液と、
(2)第1の繊維サイジング剤と、
を含んで構成された繊維サイジング剤配合剤であって、
前記繊維サイジング剤配合剤を繊維へ塗布し、前記溶媒を除去した後、前記ナノ粒子は前記第1の繊維サイジング剤全体に分散し、
前記ナノ粒子は、第2のサイジング剤、前記繊維上でのさらなるナノ構造成長のための触媒及びこれらの組み合わせ、から選択される機能を果たすことを特徴とする繊維サイジング剤配合剤。

前記ナノ粒子は、電気伝導性であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の配合剤。

前記ナノ粒子は、熱伝導性であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の配合剤。

前記遷移金属ナノ粒子は、Ni,Fe,Co,Mo,Cu,Pt,Au,Ag,TiO 2 ,ZnO,MnO,SnO及びこれらの混合物からなるグループから選択されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の配合剤。

前記第1の繊維サイジング剤は、シランベース材料と、随意にマトリクス樹脂と架橋重合するプレポリマーと、を含んで構成されたことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の配合剤。

前記第1の繊維サイジング剤は、前記配合剤の約0.01〜約5重量パーセントの範囲で存在することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の配合剤。

周囲に配置されたサイジング剤を含んで構成された繊維であって、
前記サイジング剤は、サイジング剤中に分散した遷移金属ナノ粒子を含んで構成される繊維。
[請求項15]
繊維トウに混入されることを特徴とする請求項14に記載の繊維。
[請求項16]
マトリクス材を含んで構成された複合材料に混入されることを特徴とする請求項14に記載の繊維。
[請求項17]
前記マトリクス材は、エポキシ、ポリエステル、ビニルエステル、ポリエーテルイミド、ポリエーテルケトンケトン、ポリフタルアミド、ポリエーテルケトン、ポリエーテルエーテルケトン、ポリイミド、フェノールホルムアルデヒド及びビスマレイミドからなるグループから選択されることを特徴とする請求項16に記載の繊維。

前記ナノ粒子は、前記複合材料への混入の前に、ナノ構造を合成するために使用されることを特徴とする請求項16に記載の繊維。
[請求項19]
繊維の製造中に、請求項1に記載の配合剤を前記繊維へ塗布することと、
塗布された前記配合剤から前記溶媒を除去することと、
を含んで構成された方法。
[請求項20]
前記繊維を繊維トウへ混入することをさらに含んで構成される請求項19に記載の方法。
[請求項21]
複合材料形成のために、前記繊維をマトリクス材へ混入することをさらに含んで構成される請求項19に記載の方法。
[請求項22]
複合材料形成のために、前記繊維を前記マトリクス材へ混入するステップの前に、前記繊維上にカーボンナノチューブを成長させることをさらに含んで構成される請求項21に記載の方法。
[請求項23]
遷移金属ナノ粒子の溶液をサイジング剤被覆された繊維に加えることと、
前記サイジング剤を焼成することと、
を含んで構成され、
前記ナノ粒子の溶液は、前記サイジング剤を焼成する前に加えることを特徴とする方法。
[請求項24]
複合材料を形成するために、前記繊維をマトリクス材へ混入することをさらに含んで構成される請求項23に記載の方法。
[請求項25]
前記複合材料を形成するために、前記繊維を前記マトリクス材に混入するステップの前に、前記繊維上にカーボンナノチューブを成長させることをさらに含んで構成される請求項24に記載の方法。
Claims (21)
- (1)溶媒中に遷移金属ナノ粒子の分散を含んだナノ粒子溶液と、
(2)第1の繊維サイジング剤と、
を含んで構成された繊維サイジング剤配合剤であって、
前記繊維サイジング剤配合剤を繊維へ塗布し、前記溶媒を除去した後、前記ナノ粒子は前記第1の繊維サイジング剤全体に分散し、
前記ナノ粒子は、前記繊維上でのさらなるナノ構造成長のための触媒としての機能を果たし、前記ナノ構造は、カーボンナノチューブ又はナノワイヤー/ナノロッドであることを特徴とする繊維サイジング剤配合剤。 - 前記ナノ粒子は、前記配合剤の0.5〜5重量パーセントの範囲で存在することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の配合剤。
- ナノ粒子の粒径は、1nm〜800nmの範囲に分布することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の配合剤。
- ナノ粒子の粒径は、5nm〜60nmの範囲に分布することを特徴とする請求項3に記載の配合剤。
- ナノ粒子の粒径は、5nm〜30nmの範囲に分布することを特徴とする請求項3に記載の配合剤。
- ナノ粒子の粒径は、0.05nm〜2nmの範囲に分布することを特徴とする請求項3に記載の配合剤。
- 前記ナノワイヤー/ナノロッドは、SiC,CdS,B4C,ZnO,Ni,Pt,Si,InP,GaN,SiO2及びTiO2からなるグループから選択されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の配合剤。
- 前記ナノ粒子は、電気伝導性であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の配合剤。
- 前記ナノ粒子は、熱伝導性であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の配合剤。
- 前記遷移金属ナノ粒子は、Ni,Fe,Co,Mo,Cu,Pt,Au,Ag,TiO2,ZnO,MnO,SnO及びこれらの混合物からなるグループから選択されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の配合剤。
- 前記第1の繊維サイジング剤は、シランベース材料と、随意にマトリクス樹脂と架橋重合するプレポリマーと、を含んで構成されたことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の配合剤。
- 前記第1の繊維サイジング剤は、前記配合剤の0.01〜5重量パーセントの範囲で存在することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の配合剤。
- 周囲に配置されたサイジング剤であって、サイジング剤中に分散した遷移金属ナノ粒子を含んで構成されるサイジング剤と、
前記遷移金属ナノ粒子から成長したカーボンナノチューブと、を含んで構成された繊維。 - 繊維トウに混入されることを特徴とする請求項13に記載の繊維。
- マトリクス材を含んで構成された複合材料に混入されることを特徴とする請求項13に記載の繊維。
- 前記マトリクス材は、エポキシ、ポリエステル、ビニルエステル、ポリエーテルイミド、ポリエーテルケトンケトン、ポリフタルアミド、ポリエーテルケトン、ポリエーテルエーテルケトン、ポリイミド、フェノールホルムアルデヒド及びビスマレイミドからなるグループから選択されることを特徴とする請求項15に記載の繊維。
- 繊維の製造中に、請求項1に記載の配合剤を前記繊維へ塗布することと、
塗布された前記配合剤から前記溶媒を除去することと、
前記繊維上に前記遷移金属ナノ粒子からカーボンナノチューブを成長させることと、
を含んで構成された方法。 - 前記繊維を繊維トウへ混入することをさらに含んで構成される請求項17に記載の方法。
- 複合材料形成のために、前記繊維をマトリクス材へ混入することをさらに含んで構成される請求項17に記載の方法。
- 遷移金属ナノ粒子の溶液をサイジング剤被覆された繊維に塗布することと、
前記サイジング剤を焼成することと、
前記繊維上に前記遷移金属ナノ粒子からカーボンナノチューブを成長させることと、
を含んで構成され、
前記ナノ粒子の溶液は、前記サイジング剤を焼成する前に塗布することを特徴とする方法。 - 複合材料を形成するために、前記繊維をマトリクス材へ混入することをさらに含んで構成される請求項20に記載の方法。
