Claims (4)
- 方位の検出を位相モノパルス方式で行うレーダ装置において、
裏面にグランドが形成された誘電体基板と、
前記誘電体基板の表面に配設され、受信する電磁波の到来方位を位相差で検出する一対のマイクロストリップアンテナと、
前記誘電体基板を底部として、前記誘電体基板の上方を覆うアンテナカバーと、
を有し、
前記アンテナカバーは、
前記誘電体基板から離間し、その誘電体基板の上方を覆う平板状の天板部と、
前記誘電体基板の側方を覆い、前記天板部の端部において、その端部に角度を成して連続する側壁部と、
を有した形状であり、
前記側壁部は、前記一対のマイクロストリップアンテナによる前記到来方位の検出範囲外に位置し、
前記側壁部の電気的な厚さが、前記一対のマイクロストリップアンテナ側に向かうにつれて連続的に厚くなり、
前記側壁部の内面は、前記天板部に対して直角を成し、
前記側壁部の外面は、前記内面に対して15°以上、45°以下の範囲内の一定の角度を成す
ことを特徴とするレーダ装置。 - 前記側壁部は、比誘電率が均一である
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のレーダ装置。 - 前記一対のマイクロストリップアンテナは、ミリ波アンテナであることを特徴とする請求項1または請求項2に記載のレーダ装置。
- 前記天板部の厚さは、前記受信する電磁波の前記天板部内での半波長の整数倍である、ことを特徴とする請求項1ないし請求項3のいずれか1項に記載のレーダ装置。
