Description
は、機械方向において、好ましくは約2〜約6の延伸比で延伸されて、少なくとも約200MPaの引っ張り強度を有するテープを与える。第4の工程段階では、これらの延伸ポリマーテープは、縦糸および横糸テープとして使用されて、布帛をそれから編製する。このような布帛は、約40グラム/m2〜約140グラム/m2の坪量を有する。

ナイロン6,6テープにスリットするためにナイロン6,6フィルムのロールを準備する。このようなフィルムは、機械方向で延伸比4で延伸された一軸配向フィルムである。このフィルムは380cm幅であり、配向後60ミクロンのゲージを有する。
イロンエアバッグを組み立てるのに好適である。
著しく薄いフィルムからスリットされたテープによることを除いて、上記の実施例で作製されるものに類似した布帛を次のように作製する。
Claims (36)
- 車両エアバッグの製造での使用のための織布であって、3〜15mmの幅を有する、機械方向に延伸された複数の熱可塑性ポリマー縦糸テープと、3〜15mmの幅を有する、機械方向に延伸された複数の熱可塑性ポリマー横糸テープから織製され;前記機械方向に延伸された縦糸および横糸テープが熱可塑性ポリマーフィルムから製造され、少なくとも200MPaの引っ張り強度を有し;および前記織布が40グラム/m2〜140グラム/m2の坪量を有する織布。
- 前記縦糸および横糸テープを作製する熱可塑性ポリマーフィルムが、ポリアミドフィルムを含む、請求項1に記載の織布。
- 前記縦糸および横糸テープが、延伸前に80〜240ミクロンの厚さを有する少なくとも機械方向に延伸された熱可塑性ポリマーフィルムをスリットすることにより作製される、請求項1または請求項2に記載の織布。
- 前記縦糸および横糸テープをそれから作製する前に、前記熱可塑性ポリマーフィルムが、2〜6の延伸比を用いて機械方向に延伸される、請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の織布。
- 前記縦糸および横糸テープが、80〜240ミクロンのゲージを有する非延伸または部分延伸のポリマーフィルムをスリットし、次いで、前記縦糸および横糸テープに機械方向に延伸または更なる延伸を行うことにより作製される、請求項1または請求項2に記載の織布。
- 前記ポリマーフィルムからスリット後に、前記縦糸および横糸テープに2〜6の全延伸比を用いて延伸または更なる延伸を行う、請求項1、2または5のいずれかに記載の織布。
- 前記縦糸および横糸テープが平織または綾織で織製される、請求項1〜6のいずれかに記載の織布。
- 前記縦糸および前記横糸テープが4mm〜10mmの平均幅を有する、請求項1〜7のいずれかに記載の織布。
- 前記縦糸および横糸テープの両方が少なくとも300MPaの引っ張り強度値を有する、請求項1〜8のいずれかに記載の織布。
- 前記縦糸および横糸テープがナイロン6またはナイロン6,6ポリマー単位を含む流延またはブローされたポリアミドフィルムから作製される、請求項1〜9のいずれかに記載の織布。
- 前記ポリアミドフィルムがエチレンコポリマーにより変成されたナイロン6またはナイロン6,6を含む、請求項10に記載の織布。
- 前記ナイロンを変成するエチレンコポリマーが、エチレン/ビニルアセテートおよびエチレン/アルキル(メタ)アクリレートのジポリマーおよびターポリマーからなる群から選択される、請求項11に記載の織布。
- ASTM D−5034により測定して、少なくとも1000ニュートンのグラブ引っ張り強度を呈する、請求項1〜12のいずれかに記載の織布。
- ASTM D−2261により測定して、少なくとも200ニュートンの縦糸タング形引き裂き強度を呈する、請求項1〜13のいずれかに記載の織布。
- 有機コーティング剤により被覆されて、その空気透過性を低下させる、請求項1〜14のいずれかに記載の織布。
- 前記有機コーティング剤がネオプレン、クロロプレン、ポリウレタン、およびシリコーンからなる群から選択される、請求項15に記載の織布。
- エアバッグが請求項1〜16のいずれかに記載の織布を含む、車両内の補助的な乗員拘束装置としての使用のためのエアバッグ。

- 前記織布の片がポリエーテル/ポリアミドブロックコポリマー接着剤、アクリレート/エポキシ接着剤、アクリレート/シリコーン接着剤、エチレン/アクリル酸接着剤、ポリウレタン接着剤、ポリエステル接着剤、ポリエステル/エポキシ接着剤、ポリオレフィンゴム接着剤、エポキシ/ポリオレフィン接着剤、ポリアミド接着剤、ポリウレア接着剤、およびこれらの組み合わせからなる群から選択される、接着剤を用いて接着接合される、請求項19に記載のエアバッグ。
- 請求項1〜16のいずれかに記載の織布を含む、エアバッグストラップ、テザーまたはシュート。
- A)機械方向と、80〜240ミクロンの厚さを有する熱可塑性ポリマーフィルムを準備し;
B)2〜6の延伸比を用いて、前記フィルムを少なくとも機械方向で延伸し;
C)前記延伸フィルムを機械方向でスリットして、3〜15mmの幅および少なくとも200MPaの引っ張り強度を有する、複数の熱可塑性ポリマーテープを形成し;
D)前記複数の熱可塑性ポリマーテープを縦糸および横糸テープとして使用して、40グラム/m2〜140グラム/m2の坪量を有する布帛をそれから織製することを含む、車両エアバッグの製造での使用のための織布を作製する方法。 - A)機械方向と、80〜240ミクロンの厚さを有する熱可塑性ポリマーフィルムを準備し;
B)前記フィルムをスリットして、機械方向と、3〜15mmの幅を有する複数の熱可塑性ポリマーテープを形成し;
C)前記複数のテープ中のテープの実質的に全部に少なくとも200MPaの引っ張り強度を与えるのに必要な程度まで、前記複数のテープ中のテープを機械方向で延伸し;
D)前記複数の熱可塑性ポリマーテープを縦糸および横糸テープとして使用して、40グラム/m2〜140グラム/m2の坪量を有する布帛をそれから織製する
ことを含む、車両エアバッグの製造での使用のための織布を作製する方法。 - 前記複数のテープが前記熱可塑性ポリマーフィルムから前記フィルムの機械方向でスリットされる、請求項23に記載の方法。
- 前記複数のテープ中のテープが2〜6の延伸比を用いて延伸される、請求項23または請求項24に記載の方法。
- 前記熱可塑性ポリマーフィルムがポリアミドフィルムを含む、請求項22〜25のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 前記縦糸および横糸テープが平織または綾織の織製される、請求項22〜26のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 前記縦糸および横糸テープが4mm〜10mmの平均幅を有する、請求項22〜27のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 前記縦糸および横糸テープが少なくとも300MPaの引っ張り強度を有する、請求項22〜28のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 前記熱可塑性ポリマーフィルムがナイロン6またはナイロン6,6ポリマー単位を含む流延またはブローフィルムである、請求項22〜29のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 前記熱可塑性ポリマーフィルムがエチレンコポリマーにより変成されたナイロン6またはナイロン6,6を含む、請求項30に記載の方法。
- 前記ナイロンを変成するエチレンコポリマーが、エチレン/ビニルアセテートおよびエチレン/アルキル(メタ)アクリレートのジポリマーおよびターポリマーからなる群から選択される、請求項31に記載の方法。
- 作製される織布がASTM D−5034により測定して、少なくとも1000ニュートンのグラブ引っ張り強度を呈する、請求項22〜32のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 作製される織布がASTM D−2261により測定して、少なくとも200ニュートンの縦糸タング形引き裂き強度を呈する、請求項22〜33のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 形成される織布を有機コーティング剤により被覆して、前記織布の空気透過性を低下させる、追加の段階を含む、請求項22〜34のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 前記有機コーティング剤がネオプレン、クロロプレン、ポリウレタン、およびシリコーンからなる群から選択される、請求項35に記載の方法。
