Description

Claims (16)
- 血管の治療を促進するデバイスであって、
遠位端部および近位端部を有するシャフトと、
シャフトのまわりに配置されたハンドルアッセンブリと、を備え、
ハンドルアッセンブリは、ハンドルハウジングと、ハンドルハウジングをシャフトに連結するトルク制限機構と、を含み、
ハンドルハウジングが第1方向において回転され、かつ、シャフトに対して印加されるトルクが第1最大トルクを超えるとき、トルク制限機構が、ハンドルハウジングとシャフトとの間での相対的な運動を許可し、
トルク制限機構は、第1カミングエレメントを備え、第1カミングエレメントは、ハンドルハウジングに対して自由に回転することができ、
トルク制限機構は、第2カミングエレメントを備え、第2カミングエレメントは、ハンドルハウジングに対して自由に回転することができ、
トルク制限機構は、遠位キャップを備え、遠位キャップは、ハンドルハウジングに対して自由に回転することができないことを特徴とするデバイス。 - ハンドルハウジングが第2方向において回転され、かつ、シャフトに対して印加されるトルクが第2最大トルクを超えるとき、トルク制限機構が、ハンドルハウジングとシャフトとの間での相対的な運動を許可し、
第2最大トルクは、第1最大トルクと異なっていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のデバイス。 - シャフトは、左巻きのコイルを備え、
第1方向は、時計回り方向であり、
第1最大トルクは、第2最大トルクよりも大きいことを特徴とする請求項2に記載のデバイス。 - シャフトは、右巻きのコイルを備え、
第2方向は、反時計回り方向であり、
第2最大トルクは、第1最大トルクよりも大きいことを特徴とする請求項2に記載のデバイス。 - シャフトは、コイルを備え、
前記デバイスは、コイルの遠位端部に固定された遠位先端部と、コイルの近位端部に固定された近位受け口と、をさらに備えたことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のデバイス。 - 第1カミングエレメントは、第1傾斜部を有し、
第1傾斜部は、第1傾斜面および第1面を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載のデバイス。 - 第1カミングエレメントは、第1カミングエレメントがシャフトに対して自由に回転できないようシャフトに連結されていることを特徴とする請求項6に記載のデバイス。
- 第2カミングエレメントは、第1傾斜係合面および第2傾斜部を有し、
第2傾斜部は、第2傾斜面および第2面を有することを特徴とする請求項6に記載のデバイス。 - キャップが、第2傾斜係合面を備えていることを特徴とする請求項8に記載のデバイス。
- ハンドルハウジングが第1方向において回転されるとき、第1傾斜係合面が第1傾斜面に係合し、
ハンドルハウジングが第2方向において回転されるとき、第2傾斜係合面が第2傾斜面に係合することを特徴とする請求項9に記載のデバイス。 - ハンドルハウジングが第2方向において回転されるとき、第1面が第1係止部に当接し、
ハンドルハウジングが第1方向において回転されるとき、第2面が第2係止部に当接することを特徴とする請求項10に記載のデバイス。 - 第1係止部が、第2カミングエレメントの第1壁部を備え、
第1面がシャフトの長手方向軸のまわりで回転するとき、第1壁部は、第1面に従う経路に概して直交する第1係止面を画定し、
第1係止面は、シャフトの長手方向軸に概して平行するラインを画定することを特徴とする請求項11に記載のデバイス。 - 第2係止部は、キャップの第2壁部を備え、
第2面が第2面に従う経路の長手方向軸のまわりで回転するとき、第2壁部は、第2面に従う経路に概して直交する第2係止面を画定し、
第2係止面は、シャフトの長手方向軸に概して平行するラインを画定することを特徴とする請求項11に記載のデバイス。 - 第1傾斜面は、第1ピッチを有し、
第2傾斜面は、第2ピッチを有し、
第2ピッチは、第1ピッチと異なっていることを特徴とする請求項9に記載のデバイス。 - 第1傾斜部は、第1最大高さを有し、
第2傾斜部は、第2最大高さを有し、
第2最大高さは、第1最大高さと異なっていることを特徴とする請求項9に記載のデバイス。 - ハンドルハウジングが第1方向において回転され、かつ、シャフトに対して印加されるトルクが第1最大トルクを超えるとき、第1傾斜係合面が、第1傾斜面を超えて移動し、
ハンドルハウジングが第2方向において回転され、かつ、シャフトに対して印加されるトルクが第2最大トルクを超えるとき、第2傾斜係合面が、第2傾斜面を超えて移動することを特徴とする請求項9に記載のデバイス。
