Description
図1は、本発明の実施の形態に係る電動二輪車1(電動車両)の主に車体フレームやパワープラント、車輪等の主要部について概略的に示す右側面図である。図1に示すように電動二輪車1は、操舵輪である前輪2と駆動輪である後輪3とを備えている。前輪2は、各々略上下方向に延びる左右一対のフロントフォーク4の下端部に回転自在に支持されており、一方、フロントフォーク4の上部は上下一対のブラケット4aを介してステアリング軸(図示せず)に支持されている。
本実施形態では、高電圧ラインを運転者から隔離し且つ雨水等からの保護するために、バッテリ21を樹脂製のバッテリボックス20に収容している。図2にはメインフレーム8から取り外して単体で示すように、バッテリボックス20は上方に開口する矩形状の筐体で、その高さよりも左右の幅が大きく、さらに前後の長さが長い。バッテリボックス20の左右両側の側壁部24には、メインフレーム8のパイプ部材80に取り付けるためのボルトの受け座24aが一体成形されて、図示しないナットが埋め込まれている。
上述したように本実施形態ではバッテリボックス20に下方から電力制御ユニット60を取り付けて支持しており、メインフレーム8との間に樹脂製のバッテリボックス20が介在することで、電力制御ユニット60を防振支持するような効果が得られる。また、以下に述べるようにバッテリボックス20の床部27に下方から電力制御ユニット60のケース62を重ね合わせて、周囲から隔離した状態で両者間の高電圧ラインを接続することができる。
次に、前記のようにバッテリボックス20へ取り付ける電力制御ユニット60の冷却構造について、図5及び図6を参照して説明する。図5は、電力制御ユニット60に別体の冷却器66を取り付ける構造を示す斜視図であり、図6は、この冷却器66によるパワーモジュール61の冷却構造が表れている断面図である。
上述した実施形態の説明はあくまで例示に過ぎず、本発明、その適用物またはその用途を制限するものではない。例えば前記の実施形態では、電力制御ユニット60のケース62に形成する開口62bの大きさをパワーモジュール61の基板61aよりも小さくし、パワー半導体チップ61bに対応するように冷却器66を設けているが、これに限らず、開口62bの大きさをパワーモジュール61の基板61aと略同じにして、基板61a全体を冷却するようにしてもよい。

Claims (8)
- 走行用の電動モータと、該電動モータへの電力供給を制御する電力制御器とを備えた鞍乗型の電動車両であって、
前記電力制御器のケースには、半導体素子の実装されたパワーモジュールの基板が収納されるとともに、この基板の少なくとも一部に接触するように冷却ジャケットが設けられており、
前記冷却ジャケット内に冷却液が流れる流路が形成されており、
前記冷却ジャケットにおいて前記基板と熱交換することにより温められた冷却液を冷却するオイルクーラと、
前記オイルクーラと前記冷却ジャケットとの間で冷却液を循環させるポンプとを有することを特徴とする鞍乗型電動車両。 - 前記電動モータを潤滑した潤滑液が、冷却液として前記オイルクーラから前記冷却ジャケットに供給される、請求項1に記載の鞍乗型電動車両。
- 前記冷却ジャケットが前記電力制御器のケースに着脱可能に取り付けられている、請求項1または2に記載の鞍乗型電動車両。
- 前記電力制御器のケースには外側から前記冷却ジャケットが嵌め込まれるように嵌合部が形成されている、請求項1ないし3のいずれか一項に記載の鞍乗型電動車両。
- 車体フレームがヘッドパイプと、該ヘッドパイプから下向きに傾斜しつつ後方に延びるメインフレームとを有し、
前記電動モータへ供給する電力を蓄える複数の蓄電装置が収納ボックスに収納されて、この収納ボックスが前記メインフレームに支持されており、
前記電力制御器のケースが前記収納ボックスの下面に取り付けられるとともに、当該ケース内の上部に前記冷却ジャケットが配設されている、請求項1ないし4のいずれか一項に記載の鞍乗型電動車両。 - 動力伝達機構を潤滑した潤滑液が、冷却液として前記オイルクーラから前記冷却ジャケットに供給される、請求項1ないし5のいずれか一項に記載の鞍乗型電動車両。
- 前記冷却ジャケットは、入口と出口とを有しており、
前記冷却ジャケットの内部空間と前記電力制御器のケースの内部空間とは隔離されている、請求項1ないし6のいずれか一項に記載の鞍乗型電動車両。 - 前記冷却ジャケットは、冷却液の流れを折り返すラビリンス構造の流路を備えている、請求項1ないし7のいずれか一項に記載の鞍乗型電動車両。
