Pred=〔(P0)(Pred0)〕+〔(P1)(Pred1)〕+D;

Claims (9)
- 複数の画像ブロックを有するピクチャのビデオ・データを生成するために符号化する方法であって、前記ビデオ・データは、前記複数の画像ブロックのうちの1つの画像ブロックの符号化データ、及び該画像ブロックのための単一の参照ピクチャ・インデックスを含み、
前記画像ブロック、及び該画像ブロックを符号化するための前記単一の参照ピクチャ・インデックスにアクセスする工程と、
前記アクセスされた単一の参照ピクチャ・インデックスに基づいて、画像ブロックを符号化するのに利用可能な参照ピクチャ群から特定の参照ピクチャを決定する工程と、
前記アクセスされた単一の参照ピクチャ・インデックスをインデックスとして重み付け係数群へ使用することにより、画像ブロックを符号化するのに利用可能な重み付け係数群から重み付け係数を決定する工程と、
前記特定の参照ピクチャ及び前記重み付け係数を使用して、前記画像ブロックを符号化する工程と、を備える、前記方法。 - 前記特定の参照ピクチャからのブロックの動き補償を行い、動き補償参照ピクチャ予測子を形成する工程と、
前記重み付け係数を使用して前記動き補償参照ピクチャ予測子を重み付けし、重み付け動き補償参照ピクチャ予測子を形成する工程と、
オフセットを決定する工程と、
前記オフセットを使用して前記重み付け動き補償参照ピクチャ予測子を調節し、調節された重み付け動き補償参照ピクチャ予測子を形成する工程と、
を備える、請求項1記載の方法。 - 前記調節された重み付け動き補償参照ピクチャ予測子及び前記画像ブロックを減算する工程を更に備える、請求項2記載の方法。
- 画像ブロックのビデオ・データを生成するために符号化するビデオ符号器であって、前記ビデオ・データは、前記画像ブロックの符号化データ、及び該画像ブロックのための単一の参照ピクチャ・インデックスを含み、
前記画像ブロックに対して重み付け係数を割り当てる参照ピクチャ重み付け係数割り当て器であって、前記単一の参照ピクチャ・インデックスは、インデックスとして重み付け係数群へ使用することにより、画像ブロックを符号化するのに利用可能な重み付け係数群から前記重み付け係数を決定し、前記単一の参照ピクチャ・インデックスはまた、画像ブロックを符号化するのに利用可能な参照ピクチャ群から特定の参照ピクチャを決定する、前記参照ピクチャ重み付け係数割り当て器と、
前記特定の参照ピクチャから動き補償参照ピクチャ予測子を生成する動き補償器と、
前記重み付け係数を前記動き補償参照ピクチャ予測子に適用する乗算器と、
を備える、前記ビデオ符号器。 - オフセットを決定する手段と、
前記オフセットを使用して前記重み付け動き補償参照ピクチャ予測子を調節し、調節された重み付け動き補償参照ピクチャ予測子を形成する手段と、
を更に備える、請求項4記載のビデオ符号器。 - 前記調節された重み付け動き補償参照ピクチャ予測子及び前記画像ブロックを減算する手段を更に備える、請求項5記載のビデオ符号器。
- 複数の画像ブロックを有するピクチャのビデオ・データを生成するために符号化するプログラムを記録した記録媒体であって、前記ビデオ・データは、前記複数の画像ブロックのうちの1つの画像ブロックの符号化データ、及び該画像ブロックのための単一の参照ピクチャ・インデックスを含み、前記プログラムは、コンピューター上で、
前記画像ブロック、及び該画像ブロックを符号化するための前記単一の参照ピクチャ・インデックスにアクセスする工程と、
前記アクセスされた単一の参照ピクチャ・インデックスに基づいて、画像ブロックを符号化するのに利用可能な参照ピクチャ群から特定の参照ピクチャを決定する工程と、
前記アクセスされた単一の参照ピクチャ・インデックスをインデックスとして重み付け係数群へ使用することにより、画像ブロックを符号化するのに利用可能な重み付け係数群から重み付け係数を決定する工程と、
前記特定の参照ピクチャ及び前記重み付け係数を使用して、前記画像ブロックを符号化する工程と、を実行する、前記記録媒体。 - 前記プログラムは、コンピューター上で、前記画像ブロックの符号化の一部として、
前記特定の参照ピクチャから動き補償参照ピクチャ予測子を提供する工程と、
前記重み付け係数を前記動き補償参照ピクチャ予測子に適用する工程と、
オフセットを決定する工程と、
前記オフセットを使用して前記重み付け動き補償参照ピクチャ予測子を調節し、調節された重み付け動き補償参照ピクチャ予測子を形成する工程と、
を更に実行する、請求項7記載の記録媒体。 - 前記プログラムは、コンピューター上で、前記画像ブロックの符号化の一部として、
前記調節された重み付け動き補償参照ピクチャ予測子及び前記画像ブロックを減算する工程を更に実行する、請求項8記載の記録媒体。
