Claims (11)
- 正電極及び負電極をセパレータを介して交互に積層した電極積層体を、樹脂層及び金属層を有するラミネートフィルムで形成されたラミネート外装体の内部に収容したシート状二次電池の製造方法において、
前記電極積層体を収容するための積層体収容部を前記ラミネート外装体の内側に形成する外装体形成工程と、
前記電極積層体を前記ラミネート外装体の積層体収容部に収容して、電解液を注入する電解液注入工程と、
電解液が注入されたラミネート外装体の周辺をヒートシールして封止する封止工程と、
前記外装体形成工程の後であって、前記電解液注入工程の前に、ラミネート外装体の水分を除去するための加熱乾燥工程と
を備え、
前記外装体形成工程では、ラミネート外装体を加熱乾燥処理した際に発生する熱歪みを吸収する凹状の歪み吸収部を前記積層体収容部に対応するラミネート外装体の表面の中心部に形成すると共に、前記積層体収容部を形成する際の歪みを吸収する凸状の歪み吸収部を前記積層体収容部に対応するラミネート外装体の表面の角部近傍に形成することを特徴とするシート状二次電池の製造方法。 - 前記積層体収容部は平面視略正方形状であって、前記歪み吸収部は、積層体収容部に対応するラミネート外装体の中心点を含んだ対角線上に点状、線状に配置形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のシート状二次電池の製造方法。
- 前記凹状の歪み吸収部は、前記積層体収容部に対応するラミネート外装体の周辺と中心点との中間点よりも中心点寄りの領域に形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のシート状二次電池の製造方法。
- 前記積層体収容部は平面視略長方形状であって、前記歪み吸収部は、積層体収容部に対応するラミネート外装体の周辺と中心点との中間点よりも内側に配置形成された中心領域歪み吸収部と、外側に配置形成された周辺領域歪み吸収部とから構成されており、前記中心領域歪み吸収部は、中心点を含んだ対角線上に点状、線状に配置形成されている一方、前記周辺領域歪み吸収部は、周辺の四隅から略45度の直線上に点状、線状に配置形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のシート状二次電池の製造方法。
- 前記中心領域歪み吸収部は、ラミネート外装体表面に対して窪んだ凹部として形成されていることを特徴とする請求項4に記載のシート状二次電池の製造方法。
- 前記周辺領域歪み吸収部は、積層体収容部に対応するラミネート外装体の四隅近傍の表面から突出した凸部として形成されていることを特徴とする請求項4に記載のシート状二次電池の製造方法。
- 前記積層体収容部は、長辺と短辺との比が、1.7〜3に形成されていることを特徴とする請求項4ないし6のいずれかに記載のシート状二次電池の製造方法。
- 前記封止工程は、前記ラミネート外装体内を大気圧以下に減圧する減圧工程を有し、前記凹凸状の歪み吸収部は、前記封止工程の際に消失するようにその大きさが設定されていることを特徴とする請求項1ないし7のいずれかに記載のシート状二次電池の製造方法。
- 請求項1ないし8のいずれかの製造方法を用いて製造したシート状二次電池であって、電極積層体を挟んで対向するラミネート外装体の一方に、前記積層体収容部を形成したことを特徴とするシート状二次電池。
- 請求項1ないし8のいずれかの製造方法を用いて製造したシート状二次電池であって、電極積層体を挟んで対向するラミネート外装体の双方に、前記積層体収容部を形成したことを特徴とするシート状二次電池。
- 前記電極積層体からラミネート外装体を気密に貫通する電極リードを備え、該電極リードは、その厚さが、1.0〜5.0mmの板状の端子であることを特徴とする請求項9又は10に記載のシート状二次電池。
