Claims (6)
- セパレータを介して対向配置されたシート状の正電極とシート状の負電極とから構成される内部電極対と、該内部電極対と電解液とを密封状態に収容する外装体とを備え、前記外装体は、前記内部電極対及び電解液を封止する内側外装体と、この内側外装体と独立して該内側外装体を外包する外側外装体とで構成され、前記内側外装体は、耐電解液性のシート状熱可塑性樹脂で形成されていると共に、前記外側外装体は、金属箔で形成されているシート状二次電池の製造方法であって、
シート状の正電極とシート状の負電極とをセパレータを介して交互に積層してシート状の内部電極対を形成し、
この内部電極対を耐電解液性のシート状の熱可塑性樹脂にて覆い、該内部電極対の三辺に沿って前記シート状の熱可塑性樹脂をヒートシールして三方を封止すると共に、残りの一辺に対応する開口部を形成し、
次に、前記開口部から電解液を注入すると共に、大気圧よりも低い第一の圧力にて、前記内部電極対の封止されていない一辺から所定の離隔を設けて前記シート状の熱可塑性樹脂の開口部をヒートシールし、
大気圧にて所定の時間経過させた後に、前記ヒートシールされた開口部の内側を切り欠くと共に、前記第一の圧力よりも低い第二の圧力にて、前記内部電極対の封止されていない一辺に沿って前記シート状の熱可塑性樹脂を再度ヒートシールして、内部電極対及び電解液を密封状態で収容する熱可塑性樹脂の封止体を形成し、
その後、この熱可塑性樹脂の封止体を金属箔で覆い、その周辺部を有機接着材料を介してヒートシールすることを特徴とするシート状二次電池の製造方法。 - 前記熱可塑性樹脂の封止体を金属箔で覆ってヒートシールする際には、大気圧よりも低く前記第二の圧力よりも高い第三の圧力にて、前記金属箔の周辺部をヒートシールすることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のシート状二次電池の製造方法。
- 前記内部電極対は、一方の極性のシート状電極の両面を前記セパレータで覆うと共に、該セパレータを介して、前記一方の極性のシート状電極の両面側には他方の極性のシート状電極が対向配置されており、前記一方の極性のシート状電極には、その両面に活物質が塗布されていると共に、前記他方の極性のシート状電極には、そのセパレータ側の対向面にのみ活物質が塗布されていることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載のシート状二次電池の製造方法。
- 前記セパレータは、1枚のシート状セパレータを折り返すことにより、前記一方の電極を覆っていることを特徴とする請求項3に記載にシート状二次電池の製造方法。
- 前記金属箔は、その厚さが10μm以下のステンレスで形成されており、前記熱可塑性樹脂は、その厚さが15μm以下のポリエチレンテレフタレートで形成されていることを特徴とする請求項1ないし4のいずれかに記載のシート状二次電池の製造方法。
- 前記シート状二次電池は、その厚さが0.4mm以下に形成されていると共に、その出力が40mAh以上であることを特徴とする請求項1ないし5のいずれかに記載のシート状二次電池の製造方法。
