Description
蛍光体廃棄物は、以前はしばしば特別廃棄物として保管されていた(deponiert)。今日知られた、蛍光体廃棄物を後処理する方法への取り組みは、個々の成分、特に希土類蛍光体の回収を目的にしている方法を主に記載する。
本発明の課題は、蛍光体製造における使用のためにテルビウム、ユウロピウム及びイットリウムのような元素の回収を可能にする方法を示すことである。
・蛍光体含有廃棄物の物質組成の定量的及び定性的な測定、特にそのSE含量及び存在している不純物;
・不純物(例えばガラス破片)の分離によるSE含有蛍光体の豊富化のための機械的な方法の開発;
・希土類のできるだけ定量的な回収のための抽出法の開発;
・前記SE抽出物の、品質が特に蛍光体製造のための、商業的に入手可能な原料に相当する、化合物へのさらなる加工;
・全ての処理工程は、廃棄物発生からの残存物質を考慮して最適化される。
1.粗大含分の機械的な分離。
2.ハロリン酸塩の分離。
3.酸に易溶のSE蛍光体(主にY、Eu酸化物)の抽出
4.酸に難溶のSE蛍光体(例えばSEリン酸塩)の抽出
5.残留しているSE含有成分の温浸(Aufschluss)(例えばSEアルミン酸塩)
6.最終処理。
蛍光ランプ利用の際に、蛍光体粉末は、別個のフラクションとして生じる。水銀含有の蛍光体廃棄物は、"特別な監視を必要とする廃棄物"として取り決められており、かつ特別廃棄物として運び入れられるべきである。テーラーメイドのリサイクルプロセスは、保管が予定される特別廃棄物の質量及び体積を減少させ、このことは輸送コスト及び処分場コストの低下、並びに処分場の負担の軽減及びヒトの生活圏の保護に貢献する。
図1は、前記リサイクルの進行の図式を示す。ハロリン酸塩は、前記方法の第一工程において冷浸出により分離される。希土類の抽出は、存在している化合物の溶解度に依存して3つの別個の段階で行われる。液相は捕集され、かつ希土類にさらに加工される。
Claims (10)
- 複数の蛍光体を含有するランプ廃棄物から希土類含有蛍光体を再取得するにあたり、その際に蛍光体の本質的な部分が、60質量%を上回り、ハロリン酸塩及び希土類含有蛍光体である、希土類含有蛍光体を再取得する方法であって、次の処理工程:
a)粗大含分の機械的な分離;
b)ハロリン酸塩の分離;
c)酸に可溶の希土類含有蛍光体の抽出;
ここで前記工程c)は、
工程c11):酸に易溶な材料の抽出を有し、
d)希土類元素の再取得を含む最終処理
を有する前記方法において、
前記工程c)が、前記工程c11)の後に、
さらなる工程c2):残留希土類含有蛍光体成分を高温、高圧下で温浸する工程、これにより希土類含有蛍光体成分の完全な溶解が達成され、
を有し、
ここで前記工程d)において、前記工程c)で抽出した希土類含有蛍光体を合成希土類化合物として沈殿させる、前記方法。 - 前記工程c11):酸に易溶の希土類含有蛍光体の抽出

を有し、これら2つの工程の順序は任意である、請求項1記載の方法。 - 前記工程a)が、大きくても25μmであるメッシュサイズでの少なくとも1つのふるい分けを含む、請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記工程b)を冷浸出又は熱浸出により行う、請求項1記載の方法。
- 酸に易溶の希土類含有蛍光体の抽出工程を、塩酸及び/又は硫酸中で行う、請求項2記載の方法。
- 酸に易溶の希土類含有蛍光体の抽出工程を、塩酸及び/又は硫酸中で60〜90℃で行う、請求項2記載の方法。
- 前記工程c112)を、酸又はアルカリによる温浸として実施する、請求項2記載の方法。
- 前記工程c2)を、アルカリ又は酸による温浸として実施する、請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記工程d)で抽出した希土類含有蛍光体を、シュウ酸溶液又はアンモニアでのいずれかを用いて沈殿させる、請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記工程d)で、抽出した希土類含有蛍光体をシュウ酸溶液で沈殿させ、ここでシュウ酸塩が生成し、当該シュウ酸塩を強熱して酸化物にする工程をさらに有する、請求項9記載の方法。
