Description
図1(A)は本実施形態のレーダ装置11の主要構成を示すブロック図であり、図1(B)は図1(A)の受信データ記憶部51の具体的な構成及び動作を説明する図である。
具体的に、送信部12は、短パルス送信タイミングになると、パルス幅WPSからなる短パルス信号PS1を出力する。次に、送信部12は、短パルス信号PS1に基づく反射信号の受信のために設定された時間長RTSの経過後に、パルス幅WPMからなる中パルス信号PM1を出力する。この際、受信時間長RTsは、短パルス信号PS1で探知したい短距離領域の反射信号を受信できる時間長に設定されている。さらに、送信部12は、中パルス信号PM1に基づく反射信号の受信のために設定された時間長RTMの経過後に、パルス幅WPLからなる長パルス信号PL1を出力する。この際、中パルス信号PM1用の受信時間長RTMは、短パルス信号PS1の探知領域よりも長距離となる中距離領域を探知するために、短パルス信号の受信時間長RTSよりも長く設定されている。
パルス積分部52は、次に示す手順で、パルス積分法を用いて探知距離領域毎の探知を行う。図3は各探知距離領域に対するパルス積分による探知の概念を示すタイミングチャートである。また、図4は本実施形態のパルス積分を用いた探知による方位角範囲の重複を説明する為の図である。
Claims (4)
- 異なるパルス幅からなる複数種類のパルス信号が時系列に特定間隔で配列されたパルス送信グループを単位として一定の繰り返し周期でパルス信号の送信を行う送信部と、
各パルス信号に対するパルス応答データを、前記パルス信号の種類毎に所定回数分記憶する記憶部と、
前記記憶部に記憶されたパルス応答データを前記パルス信号の種類毎にパルス積分するパルス積分部と、
前記パルス積分した結果を用いてレーダ画像を生成する画像生成部と、を備えたレーダ装置。 - 前記記憶部は、前記パルス信号の種類毎に区分された複数の探知距離別記憶部を備え、
各探知距離別記憶部は、新たなパルス応答データが記憶される際に、当該新たなパルス応答データを含む時間的に最新側の前記所定回数分のパルス応答データを、各パルス応答データの時間的配列が識別できるように更新記憶し、
前記パルス積分部は、前記更新記憶が行われる毎に、前記新たなパルス応答データを含む前記所定回数分のパルス応答データを用いてパルス積分を行う、請求項1に記載のレーダ装置。 - 前記記憶部は、前記パルス信号の種類別に区分された複数の探知距離別記憶部を備え、
該探知距離別記憶部は、前記パルス信号の種類毎にそれぞれ異なる回数分のパルス応答データを記憶し、
前記パルス積分部は、前記探知距離別記憶部に記憶されたパルス応答データを用いて前記パルス信号の種類毎にパルス積分する、請求項1に記載のレーダ装置。 - 前記パルス送信グループは、短距離探知用の短パルスとそれよりもパルス幅の長い長距離探知用の長パルスとを少なくとも有し、
前記探知距離別記憶部は、前記短距離探知用の短パルスのパルス応答データを記憶する回数分が、前記長距離探知用の長パルスのパルス応答データを記憶する回数分よりも多く設定されている、請求項3に記載のレーダ装置。
