Claims (19)
- メディア評価のための方法であって、
個人が前記メディアにさらされながら、実質的に生成された個人の脳からの第一の信号を得るステップと、
前記脳からの第一の信号で、実質的に同時に生成された前記個人の心臓から第二の信号を得るステップと、
前記第一及び第二の信号を周波数領域に表すステップと、
前記第一の信号からの(1)第1の周波数と(2)第2の周波数との間の第1の数学的関係と、前記第二の信号からの第3の周波数と前記第1の数学的関係の結果との間の第2の数学的関係とに基づいて関与値を計算するステップと、
関与値と参照値との差を求めるために関与値と参照値とを比較するステップと、
前記関与値と前記参照値との差に基づいて前記メディアを評価するステップと、
を備える方法。 - 少なくとも1つの第1の周波数及び第2の周波数が、1又はそれ以上のアルファ周波数又はシータ周波数を包含することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記関与値が前記メディアのイベントと関連付けられ、
前記表すステップが、高速フーリエ変換又はウェーブレット分析を用いて達成され、
各心拍の長さが観察され、
若しくは、
前記メディアが、1つまたはそれ以上のテレビ放送、ビデオゲーム、視聴覚広告、ボードゲーム、カードゲーム、ライブのアクション・イベント、印刷広告、又はウェブ広告を包含する
ことのうちの少なくとも1つを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。 - 請求項1記載の方法であって、前記第二の信号が、前記個人の頭部に取り付けられたフォトプリサイモグラフを介してサンプリングされる方法。
- 請求項1記載の方法であって、前記メディアのイベントと関連する複数の個人からの複数の関与値が、前記イベントに対する関与反応を形成するように集約される方法。
- 請求項1記載の方法であって、複数の個人からの複数の関与値が、前記メディアに関与をもって反応する人数を識別する合計反応ベクトルに含まれる方法。
- 請求項3記載の方法であって、ウェーブレット分析が、メキシカン・ハット・ウェーブレット、モアレ・ウェーブレット、ドブシー・ウェーブレット、ベータ・ウェーブレット、及びコイフレ・ウェーブレットから選択されるウェーブレットを用いて達成される方法。
- 請求項1記載の方法であって、更に、時間経過に渡る関与の変化を表す、前記関与値の微分係数を計算するステップを備える方法。
- 請求項1記載の方法であって、前記関与値が、[心拍数/50]−[(シータ−アルファ)/(シータ+アルファ)]を計算することによって求められることを特徴とする方法。
- 前記第一の信号が、アルファ周波数、ベータ周波数、デルタ周波数、シータ周波数、および全体EEGパワーを包含し、前記第二の信号が心拍数を包含し、θ−α、θ、θ/α、Δ/α、β/α、又は全体EEGパワー/αのうちの1つ以上と心拍数とを対比することにより前記関与値が計算されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記第一の信号が、アルファ周波数、ベータ周波数、デルタ周波数、シータ周波数、および全体EEGパワーを包含し、前記第二の信号が心拍数を包含し、α、α/θ、α/β、α/Δ、α/全体EEGパワー、又は(α−θ)/(α+θ)のうちの1つ以上と心拍の長さとを対比することにより前記関与値が計算されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載方法。
- 前記関与値に対応する或る時点を識別するステップと、

前記メディアのイベントに対する評価として、前記関与値と前記参照値とを比較するステップからの結果を保存するステップ、
を備えることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の方法。 - 前記参照値が前記メディアの製作者により提供され、又は、
前記参照値が、他の個人の以前にたくさん計算された関与値の平均値である
ことのうちの少なくとも1つを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。 - メディア評価のためのシステムであって、
個人が前記メディアにさらされながら、実質的に生成された個人の脳からの第一の信号と、個人が前記メディアにさらされながら、実質的に生成された前記個人の心臓から第二の信号とを得るためのデータ収集器と、
前記第一及び第二の信号を周波数領域に変化させ、
(A)前記第一の信号からの(1)第1の周波数と(2)第2の周波数との間の第1の数学的関係と、(B)(1)前記第二の信号からの第3の周波数と(2)前記第1の数学的関係の結果との間の第2の数学的関係とに基づいて関与値を計算し、
関与値と参照値との差を求めるために関与値と参照値とを比較し、
前記関与値と前記参照値との差に基づいて前記メディアを評価する、
ためのプロセッサと
を備えるシステム。 - 請求項15記載のシステムであって、前記データ収集器が、前記メディアに刺激された前記個人からの信号を測定するための統合センサ・ヘッドセットに含まれる一つ又はそれ以上のセンサを有することを特徴とするシステム。
- 前記第1の数学的関係が、(1)前記第2の周波数と前記第1の周波数との間の第1の差と、(2)前記第1の周波数と前記第2の周波数との合計との比を包含することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の方法。
- 前記第2の数学的関係が、前記第3の周波数と、前記第1の数学的関係との間の第2の差を包含することを特徴とする請求項17に記載の方法。
- 前記第2の数学的関係が、前記第3の周波数のパーセンテージを包含することを特徴とする請求項18に記載の方法。
