Claims (9)
- 映像を記憶する記憶媒体と;
使用者の要求に従って前記記憶媒体に保存された映像の一部または全部を選択するための選択回路と;
前記選択回路により選択された映像を使用者が要求した上映時間だけ表示するための予想消費電力を検出するための第1検出回路と;
バッテリーの残量を検出するための第2検出回路と;
前記第1検出回路及び第2検出回路の出力を比較するための比較回路と;
前記比較回路の出力に従って前記映像の白色輝度を再設定し、再設定された白色輝度に基づいて、前記映像の赤色、緑色、及び青色階調をそれぞれ設定するための赤色、緑色、及び青色変換信号を出力する輝度設定回路と;
前記選択回路により選択された映像の映像信号と前記赤色、緑色、及び青色変換信号の入力を受けて、映像信号の輝度を変換するための制御回路と;
前記制御回路の出力の入力を受けて映像を表示するための表示パネルと;
を備え、
前記第1検出回路は、前記選択回路により選択された映像を構成する複数のイメージの中から特定番目のイメージを抽出して、抽出されたイメージの要求電流を検出することによって、全体映像の前記予想消費電力を検出する、表示装置。 - 前記輝度設定回路は、
前記比較回路の出力によって映像の白色輝度を制御するための第1設定信号を出力する設定回路と、
前記第1設定信号によって映像の赤色階調を設定するための赤色変換信号を出力する赤色変換回路と、
前記第1設定信号によって映像の緑色階調を設定するための緑色変換信号を出力する緑色変換回路と、
前記第1設定信号によって映像の青色階調を設定するための青色変換信号を出力する青色変換回路と、
を含むことを特徴とする請求項1又は2のいずれかに記載の表示装置。 - 前記表示パネルは、複数の有機電界発光ダイオードを含む有機電界発光表示装置であることを特徴とする請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の表示装置。
- 使用者の要求によって記憶媒体に保存された映像のうち一部または全部を選択するステップと;
前記選択された映像を使用者が要求した上映時間だけ表示するために必要となる予想消費電力を検出するステップと;
バッテリーの残量を検出するステップと;
前記予想消費電力とバッテリーの残量とを比較するステップと;
前記予想消費電力が前記バッテリーの残量を超える場合、前記バッテリーの残量に基づいた映像の白色輝度を設定するための第1設定信号を生成するステップと;
前記第1設定信号に従って前記映像の赤色、緑色、及び青色階調を制御するための赤色、緑色、及び青色変換信号を生成するステップと;
前記赤色、緑色、及び青色変換信号により前記選択された映像の映像信号を変換するステップと;及び
前記変換された映像信号を利用して映像を表示するステップを含み、
前記予想消費電力を検出するステップでは、前記選択された映像を構成する複数のイメージの中から特定番目のイメージを抽出して、抽出されたイメージの要求電流を検出することによって、全体映像の前記予想消費電力を検出することを特徴とする表示装置の駆動方法。 - 前記映像を表示するステップで映像を表示するための表示パネルは、複数の有機電界発光ダイオードを含む有機電界発光表示装置であることを特徴とする請求項6〜8のいずれか1項に記載の表示装置の駆動方法。
