Description
(第1の実施形態)
(インクジェット記録ヘッド)
まず、本発明の第1の実施形態に係るインクジェット記録ヘッド90の構成について説明する。図1および図2はインクジェット記録ヘッド90の概略構成図であり、図1は斜視図であり、図2は分解斜視図である。
図1に示すように、インクジェット記録ヘッド90には、インク供給ユニット400が長手方向の両端に一つずつ互いに逆向きに設けられている。図6は、インクジェット記録ヘッド90の概略構成図である。
次に、本実施形態に係るインクジェット記録ヘッドが搭載される記録装置に関して説明する。
インクジェット記録ヘッド90に用いられるインク供給ユニット400について、図9および図10を用いて詳細に説明する。図9はインク供給ユニット400の図1における矢印Aで示す平面における断面図である。また、図10は各溶着部414,415における溶着面積を示す模式図である。

Claims (11)
- 液体を供給する流路を備える流路構成体の製造方法であって、
第1の流路形成部材の第1の面と第2の流路形成部材の第1の面とを超音波溶着法によって溶着することにより、第1の溶着部を形成すると共に第1の流路を形成する工程と、
前記第1の溶着部及び前記第1の流路を形成した後、前記第1の流路形成部材の第1の面の裏面である第2の面と前記第2の流路形成部材の第1の面の裏面である第2の面とのいずれか一方と、第3の流路形成部材の第1の面とを超音波溶着法によって溶着することにより、第2の溶着部を形成すると共に第2の流路を形成する工程と、
を備え、
前記第1の溶着部の単位長さあたりの溶着面積は、前記第2の溶着部の単位長さあたりの溶着面積より大きいことを特徴とする流路構成体の製造方法。 - 前記第1の溶着部及び前記第1の流路を形成する際の前記超音波溶着法における超音波のエネルギーは、前記第2の溶着部及び前記第2の流路を形成する際の前記超音波溶着法における超音波のエネルギーより高い、請求項1に記載の流路構成体の製造方法。
- 前記第1の溶着部を溶着する際の超音波を発する時間は、前記第2の溶着部を溶着する際の超音波を発する時間より長い、請求項1に記載の流路構成体の製造方法。
- 前記第1の溶着部を形成する前記第1の流路形成部材の前記第1の面と前記第2の流路形成部材の前記第1の面のうちの一方には、突出した第1の溶着リブが形成されており、前記第2の溶着部を形成する前記第1の流路形成部材の前記第2の面または前記第2の流路形成部材の前記第2の面と、前記第3の流路形成部材の前記第1の面のうちの一方には、突出した第2の溶着リブが形成されており、前記超音波溶着法により前記溶着リブを溶着する、請求項1に記載の流路構成体の製造方法。
- 前記第1の溶着リブの体積は、前記第2の溶着リブの体積より大きい、請求項4に記載の流路構成体の製造方法。
- 前記第1の溶着リブの先端の角度は、前記第2の溶着リブの先端の角度より大きい、請求項4または5に記載の流路構成体の製造方法。
- 液体を供給する流路を備える流路構成体の製造方法であって、
第1の流路形成部材の第1の面と第2の流路形成部材の第1の面とを超音波溶着法によって溶着することにより、第1の溶着部を形成すると共に第1の流路を形成する工程と、
前記第1の溶着部及び前記第1の流路を形成した後、前記第1の流路形成部材の第1の面の裏面である第2の面と前記第2の流路形成部材の第1の面の裏面である第2の面とのいずれか一方と、第3の流路形成部材の第1の面とを超音波溶着法によって溶着することにより、第2の溶着部を形成すると共に第2の流路を形成する工程と、
を備え、
前記第1の溶着部の総面積は、前記第2の溶着部の総面積より大きく、
前記第1の溶着部を形成する前記第1の流路形成部材の前記第1の面と前記第2の流路形成部材の前記第1の面のうちの一方には、突出した第1の溶着リブが形成されており、前記第2の溶着部を形成する前記第1の流路形成部材の前記第2の面または前記第2の流路形成部材の前記第2の面と、前記第3の流路形成部材の前記第1の面のうちの一方には、突出した第2の溶着リブが形成されており、前記超音波溶着法により前記溶着リブを溶着し、
前記第1の溶着リブの先端の角度は、前記第2の溶着リブの先端の角度より大きいことを特徴とする流路構成体の製造方法。 - 前記第1の溶着リブの体積は、前記第2の溶着リブの体積より大きい、請求項7に記載の流路構成体の製造方法。
- 液体を供給する流路を備える流路構成体であって、
第1の流路形成部材と、
前記第1の流路形成部材の第1の面と超音波溶着法によって接合されており、その接合面である第1の面に第1の流路溝が形成されている第2の流路形成部材と、
前記第2の流路形成部材の前記第1の面の裏面である第2の面と超音波溶着法によって接合されており、その接合面である第1の面に第2の流路溝が形成されている第3の流路形成部材と、
を含み、
前記第1の流路形成部材の前記第1の面と前記第2の流路形成部材の前記第1の面とを溶着する際の第1の溶着部の単位長さあたりの溶着面積は、前記第2の流路形成部材の前記第2の面と前記第3の流路形成部材の前記第1の面とを溶着する際の第2の溶着部の単位長さあたりの溶着面積より大きいことを特徴とする流路構成体。 - 前記第1の流路の数は前記第2の流路の数より多い、請求項9に記載の流路構成体。
- 請求項1から10のいずれか1項に記載の流路構成体と、前記第3の流路形成部材の前記第1の面の裏面である第2の面に接合された、液体を吐出する液体吐出ユニットと、を有する記録ヘッド。
