Description
A.1種もしくは2種以上のアクリレートもしくはメタクリレートエステルモノマー;
B.イオウ含有化合物、好ましくは塩化スルホニル;
C.アミン系硬化促進剤、好ましくはアミン−アルデヒド反応生成物;
D.下記よりなる群から選ばれた熱可塑性ブロックコポリマー成分:
a.線状スチレン−ブタジエン−スチレンブロックコポリマー、
b.放射状スチレン−ブタジエン−スチレンブロックコポリマー+可塑剤、
c.線状もしくは放射状スチレン−イソプレン−スチレンブロックコポリマー、および
d.線状もしくは放射状スチレン−ブタジエン−インプレン−スチレンブロックコポリマー;ならびに
E.場合により(任意成分の)、接着促進性ポリマー、好ましくは塩素化ポリマー。
a.スチレン含有量が20〜45%の線状スチレン−ブタジエン−スチレンブロックコポリマー、
b.スチレン含有量が20〜45%の放射状スチレン−ブタジエン−スチレンブロックコポリマー+可塑剤、
c.スチレン含有量が10〜45%の線状もしくは放射状スチレン−イソプレン−スチレンブロックコポリマー、および
d.スチレン含有量が10〜45%の線状もしくは放射状スチレン−ブタジエン−インプレン−スチレンブロックコポリマー。
実験手順:
メタクリレート溶液の調製
熱可塑性ブロックコポリマーの原液溶液を1ガロンのガラス瓶(ジャー)内で、ジャー・ローラーを用いて30〜45%の範囲内の濃度の溶液とするのに十分な量のポリマーをメチルメタクリレート中に溶解させることにより調製する。個々の実施例について、追加の処方成分を添加した後で追加のMMAを添加することによって最終粘度を調整する。試験片を作製する直前にDHP成分またはBPO成分を最終添加成分として添加し、重合を開始させる。
接着剤のバルク(体積)応力−歪み特性をASTM試験法D638に従って測定する。試験片を調製するために、直径約6〜7インチ、厚さ約0.125インチの均一に平たいフィルムを作るのに十分な量の接着剤を混合する。接着剤成分を所定の比率でビーカー内での単純な手動混合によって混合する。接着剤を十分に混合したら、ビーカーを真空室に入れ、最後の1〜2回の真空の適用がさらなる泡立ちまたは膨張を生じなくなるまで、真空を間欠的に適用して接着剤から空気を除去する。その後、接着剤を、似たサイズのマイラ(Mylar)剥離フィルムの層で上面が覆われている直径約12インチの2枚のガラスまたはプラスチックプレートの1枚の上に移す。接着剤はマイラフィルムの中心に置き、もう一方のマイラフィルムとプレートを接着剤の上に載せ、均一に下向きに押しつけて接着剤をフィルム状に広げる。所望のフィルム厚みを得るように、金属シム(スペーサ)がプレートの周囲に配置されている。
Claims (9)
- 下記成分を含む、1:1の比率で混合して弾性又は延性の接着剤を形成することができる二液型接着剤組成物:
下記を含む成分A:
1種若しくは2種以上のアクリレート若しくはメタクリレートエステルモノマー;およびイオウ含有化合物から選ばれる開始剤、ただし開始剤は過酸化ベンゾイルを含有しない、および
下記を含む成分B:
1種若しくは2種以上のアクリレート若しくはメタクリレートエステルモノマー;および第3級芳香族アミンおよびアミン−アルデヒド反応生成物から選ばれるアミン系活性化剤、
ここで、成分A若しくは成分B又は両者はさらに下記よりなる群から選ばれた熱可塑性ブロックコポリマー成分を含む:
a.線状スチレン−ブタジエン−スチレンブロックコポリマー、
b.線状スチレン−イソプレン−スチレンブロックコポリマー、
c.線状スチレン−ブタジエン−イソプレン−スチレンブロックコポリマー、
及びこれらの混合物。 - 1種若しくは2種以上のアクリレート若しくはメタクリレートエステルモノマーが、メチルメタクリレートモノマー、及びモノマーのアルコール部分がC 6 以上の炭化水素部分からなるより高分子量のアクリレート及びメタクリレートモノマー並びにそれらの混合物よりなる群から選ばれる、請求項1記載の二液型接着剤組成物。
- 成分A若しくは成分B又は両者が、クロロスルホン化ポリエチレン、塩素化ポリエチレン、ポリクロロプレンポリマー及びこれらの混合物よりなる群から選ばれた塩素化ポリマーを含む接着促進ポリマーをさらに含有する請求項1に記載の二液型接着剤組成物。
- 成分A若しくは成分B又は両者が、コアシェル型耐衝撃性改良剤をさらに含有する、請求項1に記載の二液型接着剤組成物。
- クメンヒドロペルオキシド、メチルエチルケトンペルオキシド、安息香酸エステル、過安息香酸t−ブチルおよびそれらの混合物よりなる群から選ばれる開始剤をさらに含有する、請求項1に記載の二液型接着剤組成物。
- アミン系活性化剤がブチルアルデヒドとアニリンの付加生成物である、請求項1に記載の二液型接着剤組成物。
- 下記工程を含む、1:1の比率の接着剤の形成方法:
1種若しくは2種以上のメタクリレート若しくはアクリレートエステルモノマーとイオウ含有化合物とを含む成分Aを調製し、
1種もしくは2種以上のアクリレート若しくはメタクリレートエステルモノマーと、成分Aのイオウ含有化合物と反応する第3級芳香族アミンまたはアミン−アルデヒドである活性化剤とを含む成分Bを調製し、
ここで成分A若しくは成分B又はその両者は、下記よりなる群から選ばれた熱可塑性ブロックコポリマー成分を含み:
a.線状スチレン−ブタジエン−スチレンブロックコポリマー、
b.線状スチレン−イソプレン−スチレンブロックコポリマー、
c.線状スチレン−ブタジエン−イソプレン−スチレンブロックコポリマー、
及びこれらの混合物、
ここで、成分A:成分Bの比率は1:1であり、
成分Aと成分Bとを混合して接着剤組成物を形成する、そして
ここで、過酸化ベンゾイルは成分A又は成分Bのいずれにも使用されていない。 - 成分A若しくは成分B又はその両者に接着促進剤を添加することをさらに含む、請求項7に記載の方法。
- 成分A若しくは成分B又は両者が、クメンヒドロペルオキシド、メチルエチルケトンペルオキシド、安息香酸エステル、過安息香酸t−ブチルおよびそれらの混合物よりなる群から選ばれる開始剤をさらに含有する、請求項7に記載の方法。
