実施の形態1.
図1はこの発明の実施の形態1に係るバルブタイミング調整装置を図2の2−2線に沿う径方向の断面図、図2はこの発明の実施の形態1に係るバルブタイミング調整装置を図1の1−1線に沿う軸方向の断面図である。
Claims (2)
- 内燃機関のバルブを開閉駆動するカムシャフトと、内周面に複数のシューを有して前記カムシャフト上に回転自在に設けられ、前記内燃機関の出力で回転駆動されるケースと、前記各シューの周方向両側壁面との間で遅角油圧室と進角油圧室を形成する複数のベーンを外周面に有し、前記ケース内に相対回転可能に収納され且つ前記カムシャフトに連結されたロータとを備えたバルブタイミング調整装置において、
前記進角油圧室の前記シューと前記ベーンとの径方向壁面に対向して設けられた凹部と、
前記凹部に前記ロータの軸線方向から挿入配設される保持部材と、
前記シュー側の前記保持部材と前記ベーン側の保持部材との間に配設され前記ロータを進角方向に付勢するアシストスプリングとを備え、
前記ベーン側に設けられた保持部材の前記ロータの軸方向長さとケースの前記ロータの軸方向長さから形成されるクリアランスを、前記保持部材と前記凹部の隙間から生じる該保持部材の傾きを考慮した前記ロータの軸方向長さ増加分と熱膨張による増加分の和以上になるように設定し、
前記ベーンの径方向壁面に設けられた凹部に開口を狭める抜け止め防止部を設け、前記保持部材に前記抜け止め防止部と当接する第1のテーパ部を形成し、
前記保持部材に設けた第2のテーパ部のアシストスプリングの軸方向の幅を、最進角位置セット時のアシストスプリング線間距離よりも大きくなるように設定したことを特徴とするバルブタイミング調整装置。 - アシストスプリングセット長が最大となる最進角位置でシュー側とベーン側の保持部材の底面が平行になるようにしたことを特徴とする請求項1記載のバルブタイミング調整装置。
