図4を参照すると、最後のパケットフラグ(Last packet flag)を使用して活性化期間の終了を通報する時、端末の動作は下記の通りである。
図5を参照すると、本発明の第2実施形態の端末動作は、活性化期間終了を判断する端末の動作を除外した残りの端末の動作が、上記言及した第1実施形態と同一であるので、下記の第2実施形態では、相異する動作が遂行される部分にのみを説明する。即ち、図5のステップ505〜ステップ520は、第1実施形態のステップ405〜ステップ420と同一であるので、説明を省略する。
図6を参照すると、ステップ605で、端末は呼設定の間に基地局からDRXサイクル長さ、活性化期間の開始時点を誘導できる情報、最小活性化期間(minimum active period length)、活性化期間終了インターバル(active period end interval)を受信した後、DRX動作を準備する。最小活性化期間と活性化期間終了インターバルに同一な値が使われることができ、この場合、2つのうちの1つの値のみシグナリングされることもできる。上記情報を受信した端末はDRX動作を準備する。
図8を参考すると、第4実施形態において、基地局から端末にDRXサイクル長さ810、活性化期間850の開始時点805を誘導できる情報、最小活性化期間840a、840bがシグナリングされる。

Claims (12)
- 移動通信システムにおける端末が不連続受信(Discontinuous Reception:DRX)動作を遂行する方法であって、
共用制御チャネルを通じて、転送されるユーザデータと関連した制御データを監視するための第1タイマーを開始する過程と、
活性化周期の間に、再転送ではなく新たなユーザデータ送信を指示する前記制御データが前記共用制御チャネルを通じて受信されるとき、第2タイマーを開始するか、または前記第2タイマーが動作する間に、再転送データではなく新たな送信を指示する前記制御データが前記共用制御チャネルを通じて受信されるとき、前記第2タイマーを再開始する過程と、を含み、
前記活性化周期は、少なくとも一つの第1タイマー及び第2タイマーが動作する周期を含むことを特徴とする不連続受信動作を遂行する方法。 - 前記第1タイマーの持続期間値及び前記第2タイマーの持続期間値は、基地局から受信することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の不連続受信動作を遂行する方法。
- 前記第1タイマーの開始時点を決定するための開始情報を基地局から受信する過程をさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の不連続受信動作を遂行する方法。
- 前記活性化周期の間、前記共用制御チャネルを通じて前記制御データを監視する過程をさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の不連続受信動作を遂行する方法。
- 前記第1タイマーと前記第2タイマーのうちの少なくとも一つの中断を指示する制御信号を受信すると、前記第1タイマーと前記第2タイマーのうちの少なくとも一つを中断する過程をさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の不連続受信動作を遂行する方法。
- 前記共用制御チャネルは、逆方向物理制御チャネル(Physical Downlink control channel:PDCCH)を含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の不連続受信動作を遂行する方法。
- 移動通信システムの端末における不連続受信(Discontinuous Reception:DRX)動作を遂行する装置であって、
共用制御チャネルを通じて、転送されるユーザデータと関連した制御データを監視するための第1タイマーを開始し、活性化周期の間に、再転送データではなく新たなユーザデータ送信を指示する前記制御データが前記共用制御チャネルを通じて受信されるとき、第2タイマーを開始するか、または前記第2タイマーが動作する間に、再転送データではなく新たな送信を指示する前記制御データが前記共用制御チャネルを通じて受信されるとき、前記第2タイマーを再開始するDRX制御部を含み、
前記活性化周期は、少なくとも一つの第1タイマー及び第2タイマーが動作する周期を含むことを特徴とする不連続受信動作を遂行する装置。 - 前記DRX制御部は、
前記第1タイマーの持続期間値及び前記第2タイマーの持続期間値を基地局から受信することを特徴とする請求項7に記載の不連続受信動作を遂行する装置。 - 前記DRX制御部は、
前記第1タイマーの開始時点を決定するための開始情報を基地局から受信することを特徴とする請求項7に記載の不連続受信動作を遂行する装置。 - 前記DRX制御部は、
前記活性化周期の間、前記共用制御チャネルを通じて前記制御データを監視することを特徴とする請求項7に記載の不連続受信動作を遂行する装置。 - 前記DRX制御部は、
前記第1タイマーと前記第2タイマーのうちの少なくとも一つの中断を指示する制御信号を受信すると、前記第1タイマーと前記第2タイマーのうちの少なくとも一つを中断することを特徴とする請求項7に記載の不連続受信動作を遂行する装置。 - 前記共用制御チャネルは、逆方向物理制御チャネル(Physical Downlink control channel:PDCCH)を含むことを特徴とする請求項7に記載の不連続受信動作を遂行する装置。
