Claims (6)
- 複数の画素を含み、入力映像信号及び入力映像制御信号により前記複数の画素を選択的に発光させて映像を表示する表示部と、
前記入力映像信号を読み取って、1フレーム単位で前記複数の画素の中で発光する画素の数の比率についての情報を含むオンピクセル信号を生成する信号制御部と、
発光する画素の比率を所定範囲に区分して複数のレベルを定義し、前記複数のレベルの中から前記オンピクセル信号が該当するレベルを検出して、前記検出されたレベルに対応するサウンド命令信号を生成するサウンド制御部と、
を含み、
前記入力映像制御信号は、垂直同期信号を含み、
前記信号制御部は、前記垂直同期信号に同期されたサウンド出力開始信号を生成することを特徴とする表示装置。 - 前記サウンド出力開始信号にしたがって、前記サウンド命令信号に対応する音声を出力するサウンド出力部をさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の表示装置。
- 前記サウンド制御部は、前記複数のレベルに各々対応して互いに異なる音声を出力するための複数のサウンド命令信号を生成することを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の表示装置。
- 前記複数のサウンド命令信号のいずれか一つは、無音を出力するための命令信号であることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の表示装置。
- 入力映像信号及び入力映像制御信号により複数の画素を選択的に発光させて映像を表示する段階と、
前記入力映像信号を読み取って、1フレーム単位で前記複数の画素の中で発光する画素の数の比率についての情報を含むオンピクセル信号を生成する段階と、
発光する画素の比率を所定範囲に区分して定義される複数のレベルの中から、前記オンピクセル信号が該当するレベルを検出する段階と、
前記検出されたレベルに対応するサウンド命令信号を生成する段階と、
を含み、
前記入力映像制御信号は、垂直同期信号を含み、
前記垂直同期信号に同期されたサウンド出力開始信号を生成する段階をさらに含むことを特徴とする表示装置の駆動方法。 - 前記サウンド出力開始信号にしたがって、前記サウンド命令信号に対応する音声を出力する段階をさらに含むことを特徴とする請求項5に記載の表示装置の駆動方法。
