Description
交換炉底を最終回に交換するまでは、羽口を有しない交換炉底を使用し、外側炉底に設けられる羽口のみからガスを吹込み、
交換炉底を最終回に交換する際には、羽口を有する交換炉底に交換し、交換炉底に設けられる羽口のみからガスを吹込むことを特徴とするアーク炉の操業方法である。
以下本発明の実施例について説明する。本実施例では、スクラップおよび合金鉄を製鋼原料とし、アーク炉を用いて1チャージあたり約150トン、温度が約1400℃の溶銑を連続して生産する操業試験を行った。アーク炉には、三相交流型で炉容積が105m3、炉内径が6700mm、炉底のガス配管およびフランジの配置が先の図3に示す構成のものを使用した。吹込み用のガスには、窒素ガスを使用し、その流量は80NL/min〜200NL/minであった。操業試験に際し、1チャージ終了ごとに溶銑を炉外に出湯した。

Claims (2)
- 炉底の中央部分を含み交換可能に構成される交換炉底と、交換炉底の外側の炉底部分である外側炉底とを備え、炉底の耐用寿命に達するまでに交換炉底を1回または複数回交換するアーク炉の操業方法において、
交換炉底を最終回に交換するまでは、羽口を有しない交換炉底を使用し、外側炉底に設けられる羽口のみからガスを吹込み、
交換炉底を最終回に交換する際には、羽口を有する交換炉底に交換し、交換炉底に設けられる羽口のみからガスを吹込むことを特徴とするアーク炉の操業方法。 - 炉底の耐用寿命を、炉底に用いられる耐火物の損耗の程度に応じて耐火物の厚さで判定することを特徴とする請求項1記載のアーク炉の操業方法。
