Description
最近、充電及び放電可能な二次バッテリーが、ワイヤレス携帯装置用のエネルギー供給源として広く使用されている。また、二次バッテリーは、化石燃料を使用する既存のガソリン及びディーゼル車により引き起こされる大気汚染のような問題を解決するために開発された電気自動車(EV)及びハイブリッド電気自動車(HEV)用の動力源としても非常に大きな関心を集めている。
したがって、本発明は、上記の問題、及び他の、依然として解決されていない技術的問題を解決するためになされたものである。
ここで、添付の図面を参照しながら、本発明の好ましい実施態様を詳細に説明する。しかし、本発明の範囲は、例示する実施態様に限定されるものではない。
上記の説明から明らかなように、本発明により、二次バッテリーのシース部材の外側に成形部品を形成する。その結果、本発明の二次バッテリーは高い機械的強度を有し、したがって、別の部材、例えばカートリッジ、を使用せずに、バッテリーパックを構築することができる。成形部品を弱い密封区域に形成する場合、その成形部品により、二次バッテリーの機械的強度及び密封力が増加する。したがって、単位電池として二次バッテリーを包含するバッテリーパックを、一般的に小型の構造で、比較的軽量に製造することができ、バッテリーパックの組立工程が非常に簡素化される。本発明のバッテリーパックは、構造的な安定性が高い。したがって、このバッテリーパックは、好ましくは電気自動車、ハイブリッド電気自動車、電気モーターサイクル、及び電気自転車用の電源として使用することができる。
Claims (11)
- 単位電池として、複数の二次バッテリーを包含する、バッテリーパックであって、
前記複数の二次バッテリーが、金属層及び樹脂層を包含するシース部材の中に取り付けられた、充電及び放電用の電極アセンブリーを備えてなり、
前記複数の二次バッテリーが、前記シース部材の外側に少なくとも部分的に形成された、予め決められた厚さを有する成形部品をさらに備え、密封区域が前記成形部品により包み込まれてなり、
前記成形部品が、前記シース部材の対向する側に一体的に形成されてなり、
前記成形部品がバッテリーセルの厚さよりも大きい厚さを有してなり、
前記成形部品が、連結段差、連結溝、及び通し穴からなる群から選択された一個以上の連結部品を備えてなり、それにより、前記複数の二次バッテリーを互いに積み重ねてバッテリーパックを製造する際に、前記積み重ねたバッテリー間の連結をより容易に達成し、及び/又は前記積み重ねた複数の二次バッテリーを前記バッテリーパック用の内側部材に堅く取り付けてなり、
前記バッテリーパックが、追加の部材を使用せずに、前記単位電池同士が互いに向き合うように、前記単位電池同士を直接接触させることにより形成されてなり、
前記成形部品が、
前記シース部材の上側及び下側シース部分の接触区域を密封し、
前記シース部材の対応する外側を型の中に配置し、及び
溶融材料、熱硬化性及び/又は紫外線硬化材料、もしくは脱水硬化材料を注入し、
前記溶融材料、熱硬化性及び/又は紫外線硬化材料、もしくは脱水硬化材料が予め決められた厚さを有する状態で、前記溶融材料、熱硬化性及び/又は紫外線硬化材料、もしくは脱水硬化材料を前記シース部材の対応する外側で一体化させることにより、形成されてなる、バッテリーパック。 - 前記成形部品が、前記シース部材における外側密封区域に少なくとも部分的に形成されてなる、請求項1に記載のバッテリーパック。
- 前記二次バッテリーが小袋形バッテリーであり、
前記小袋形バッテリーにおける前記シース部材が、アルミニウム及び樹脂からなるラミネートシートから製造されてなる、請求項1に記載のバッテリーパック。 - 前記シース部材が、
一つの単位による折り曲げ型部材の、上側の内側表面及び/又は下側の内側表面に形成された受け容れ部分の中に電極アセンブリーを収容し、かつ、上側及び下側の接触区域を密封する構造において構築されるか、或いは、
二つの単位による部材の、上側の内側表面及び/又は下側の内側表面に形成された受け容れ部分の中に電極アセンブリーを収容し、かつ、上側及び下側の接触区域を密封する構造において構築されてなる、請求項1に記載のバッテリーパック。 - 前記成形部品が、前記シース部材に対向する側の密封区域に形成されてなる、請求項2に記載のバッテリーパック。
- 前記成形部品が、前記シース部材に対向する側の密封区域に、前記シース部材の上側末端密封区域、及び/又は前記シース部材の下側末端密封区域に形成されてなる、請求項2に記載のバッテリーパック。
- 前記成形部品が、前記シース部材に対向する側の密封区域の全体に沿って形成されてなる、請求項2に記載のバッテリーパック。
- 前記成形部品が、前記シース部材に対向する側の密封区域の全体に沿って形成されてなり、
前記成形部品に対応する追加の部材が、前記シース部材の上側末端部及び/又は下側末端部に連結されてなる、請求項2に記載のバッテリーパック。 - 前記成形部品が、厚さが比較的小さい少なくとも一個の窪みを備えてなるものであり、 前記窪みにより、前記複数の二次バッテリーを互いに積み重ねてバッテリーパックを形成する際に、少なくとも一個の一様な冷却剤流路が形成されてなる、請求項1に記載のバッテリーパック。
- 前記バッテリーパックが、
前記単位電池を型の中に予め決められた間隔で配置し、
各単位電池外側の少なくとも一部に前記成形部品を集約的に形成することにより形成されてなる、請求項1に記載のバッテリーパック。 - 前記バッテリーパックが、電気車両、ハイブリッド電気車両、電気モーターサイクル、又は電気自転車の電源として使用される、請求項1に記載のバッテリーパック。
