前記押圧ローラーは、支持軸に装着される軸受け部材と、この軸受け部材に装着される弾性変形自在な中間ロール部と、この中間ロール部に外挿されかつ外周に押圧面を有する外周ロール部とを具えるとともに、
前記外周ロール部は、軸心方向に分割されかつ前記中間ロール部の弾性変形によって個々に半径方向に移動可能な複数個の硬質のリング片からなり、
前記リング片は、軸心方向の巾W1が1〜5mm範囲であり、かつ前記外周ロール部の軸心方向の総巾W0が15〜100mmであり、
前記リング片は、前記外側ロール部の軸心方向の中央側に配置された少なくとも1個の幅広のリング片と、
前記幅広のリング片の少なくとも一方側に配された複数個の幅狭のリング片とを含み、
前記ゴム部材は、前記ジョイント部の周方向の両側に連なる非ジョイント部を含み、
前記非ジョイント部は、前記ジョイント部で半径方向外側に配されるゴム部材からなる一方の非ジョイント部を含み、
前記ジョイント部と、前記一方の非ジョイント部とが跨る領域に、前記複数の幅狭のリング片が配置されることを特徴としている。
成形ドラム上でゴム部材を円筒状に巻付け、かつその周方向両端部を重ね合わせてジョイント部を形成する工程と、
前記ジョイント部を、押圧ローラーを用いて押圧しながら転動することに該ジョイント部を密着させる押圧工程とを含み、
しかも前記押圧ローラーは、支持軸に装着される軸受け部材と、この軸受け部材に装着される弾性変形自在な中間ロール部と、この中間ロール部に外挿されかつ外周に押圧面を有する外周ロール部とを具えるとともに、
前記外周ロール部は、軸心方向に分割されかつ前記中間ロール部の弾性変形によって個々に半径方向に移動可能な複数個の硬質のリング片からなり、
前記リング片は、軸心方向の巾W1が1〜5mm範囲であり、かつ前記外周ロール部の軸心方向の総巾W0が15〜100mmであり、
前記リング片は、前記外側ロール部の軸心方向の中央側に配置された少なくとも1個の幅広のリング片と、
前記幅広のリング片の少なくとも一方側に配された複数個の幅狭のリング片とを含み、
前記ゴム部材は、前記ジョイント部の周方向の両側に連なる非ジョイント部を含み、
前記非ジョイント部は、前記ジョイント部で半径方向外側に配されるゴム部材からなる一方の非ジョイント部を含み、
前記ジョイント部と、前記一方の非ジョイント部とが跨る領域に、前記複数の幅狭のリング片が配置されることを特徴としている。
空気入りタイヤの製造方法は、従来と同様、未加硫の生タイヤを形成する生タイヤ形成工程と、この生タイヤを金型内で加硫成形する加硫工程とを具える。又、前記生タイヤ形成工程には、図1に示すように、成形ドラム2上でゴム部材3を円筒状に巻付け、かつその周方向両端部3a、3bを重ね合わせてジョイント部4を形成する工程S1と、前記ジョイント部4を押圧装置1の押圧ローラー5を用いて成形ドラム2に密着させる押圧工程S2(図4に示す。)とが含まれる。
タイヤの加硫成形後、タイヤ内腔面を目視によりチェックし、エアー残りによる凹凸変形が確認できたタイヤの本数で評価した。

Claims (3)
- 成形ドラム上で円筒状に巻き付けられるゴム部材の周方向両端部が重ね合わされたジョイント部を、押圧しながら該ジョイント部に沿って転動する押圧ローラーを有する押圧装置であって、
前記押圧ローラーは、支持軸に装着される軸受け部材と、この軸受け部材に装着される弾性変形自在な中間ロール部と、この中間ロール部に外挿されかつ外周に押圧面を有する外周ロール部とを具えるとともに、
前記外周ロール部は、軸心方向に分割されかつ前記中間ロール部の弾性変形によって個々に半径方向に移動可能な複数個の硬質のリング片からなり、
前記リング片は、軸心方向の巾W1が1〜5mm範囲であり、かつ前記外周ロール部の軸心方向の総巾W0が15〜100mmであり、
前記リング片は、前記外側ロール部の軸心方向の中央側に配置された少なくとも1個の幅広のリング片と、
前記幅広のリング片の少なくとも一方側に配された複数個の幅狭のリング片とを含み、
前記ゴム部材は、前記ジョイント部の周方向の両側に連なる非ジョイント部を含み、
前記非ジョイント部は、前記ジョイント部で半径方向外側に配されるゴム部材からなる一方の非ジョイント部を含み、
前記ジョイント部と、前記一方の非ジョイント部とが跨る領域に、前記複数の幅狭のリング片が配置されることを特徴とする押圧装置。 - 前記中間ロール部はウレタンゴムからなり、前記外周ロール部の各リング片はナイロン樹脂からなることを特徴とする請求項1記載の押圧装置。
- 空気入りタイヤの製造方法であって、
成形ドラム上でゴム部材を円筒状に巻付け、かつその周方向両端部を重ね合わせてジョイント部を形成する工程と、
前記ジョイント部を、押圧ローラーを用いて押圧しながら転動することに該ジョイント部を密着させる押圧工程とを含み、
しかも前記押圧ローラーは、支持軸に装着される軸受け部材と、この軸受け部材に装着される弾性変形自在な中間ロール部と、この中間ロール部に外挿されかつ外周に押圧面を有する外周ロール部とを具えるとともに、
前記外周ロール部は、軸心方向に分割されかつ前記中間ロール部の弾性変形によって個々に半径方向に移動可能な複数個の硬質のリング片からなり、
前記リング片は、軸心方向の巾W1が1〜5mm範囲であり、かつ前記外周ロール部の軸心方向の総巾W0が15〜100mmであり、
前記リング片は、前記外側ロール部の軸心方向の中央側に配置された少なくとも1個の幅広のリング片と、
前記幅広のリング片の少なくとも一方側に配された複数個の幅狭のリング片とを含み、
前記ゴム部材は、前記ジョイント部の周方向の両側に連なる非ジョイント部を含み、
前記非ジョイント部は、前記ジョイント部で半径方向外側に配されるゴム部材からなる一方の非ジョイント部を含み、
前記ジョイント部と、前記一方の非ジョイント部とが跨る領域に、前記複数の幅狭のリング片が配置されることを特徴とする空気入りタイヤの製造方法。
