Claims (3)
- 画素電極とTFTを有する画素の上に配向膜が形成されたTFT基板と、前記TFT基板に対向し、カラーフィルタの上に配向膜が形成された対向基板と、前記TFT基板の配向膜と前記対向基板の配向膜の間に液晶が挟持された液晶表示装置であって、
前記配向膜は光配向処理を受けており、
前記配向膜は、(化1)で示す1,2−ビス(4−アミノフェニル)エタンと(化3)で示す1,3−ジメチルシクロブタンテトラカルボン酸二無水物の脱水縮合物または脱水縮合物をエステル化した配向膜材料と、
(化2)で示すパラフェニルジアミンと(化3)で示す1,3−ジメチルシクロブタンテトラカルボン酸二無水物の脱水縮合物または脱水縮合物をエステル化した配向膜材料とを用いていることを特徴とする液晶表示装置。
