Claims (11)
- 相互に異なる方向の電界を形成する少なくとも第1及び第2ドメインを含み、多数個で定義された諸画素と、前記第1及び第2ドメイン上にそれぞれ配置された画素電極と、前記第1及び第2ドメインの境界部にそれぞれ配置され、前記各画素電極と交互に配置されて横電界を形成する諸共通電極と、前記諸共通電極と電気的に繋がったコンタクト部と、前記コンタクト部と電気的に繋がって、前記コンタクト部が配置された画素と隣合う画素に配置され、各画素電極と重なり合っている共通配線と、画素の上側と下側に配置された複数の共通リンク配線と、前記共通電極と絶縁膜を間に置いて重畳され、前記各画素の上側、下側または、上下側に配置されたリペア部を含む液晶表示装置。
- 前記共通配線は、前記画素電極と絶縁膜を間に置いて重畳されることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記共通リンク配線が相互に隣合う諸画素にそれぞれ配置された共通配線に、相互電気的に連結することを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記画素電極と前記共通電極は、透明な導電体で構成されたことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 絶縁膜を間に置いて重畳された前記画素電極と前記共通配線を具備するストーリッジキャパシタンスを更に含むことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記第1及び第2ドメイン上にそれぞれ配置された画素電極は、相互対称的な勾配を持つことを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 第1及び第2ドメインを具備する複数の画素と、前記多数の画素の中でn番目画素に配置されて、前記第1及び第2ドメインの境界部上に配置されたコンタクト部と、前記多数の画素の中でn+1番目画素の一側に配置されて、前記コンタクト部と電気的に繋がった共通配線と、前記共通配線及びコンタクト部を含む基板上に配置された絶縁膜と、前記絶縁膜上に相互一定の間隔を持って配置されて、前記第1及び第2ドメイン上にそれぞれ配置されて、相互異なる勾配を持つ諸第1画素電極と、前記諸第1画素電極を相互電気的に連結し、前記共通配線と重畳し、前記絶縁膜上に配置された第2画素電極と、前記諸第1画素電極と交互に配置された諸第1共通電極と、前記第1及び第2ドメインの境界部上に配置されて、前記コンタクト部と電気的に繋がった第2共通電極と、前記諸第1共通電極と前記第2共通電極を相互電気的に連結する第3共通電極と、画素の上側と下側に配置された複数の共通リンク配線と、絶縁膜を間に置いて前記第3共通電極の一部と重畳され、前記各画素の上側、下側または、上下側に配置されたリペア部を含む液晶表示装置。
- 前記画素の他側の周辺に配置されたゲート配線と、前記ゲート配線と交差して、前記共通配線と平行するデータ配線と、前記画素上に配置されて前記ゲート配線及び前記データ配線と電気的に繋がって前記第2画素電極と電気的に繋がった薄膜トランジスターと、を含むことを特徴とする請求項7に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記共通配線は、前記ゲート配線と平行に配置されて、相互に隣合う諸画素にそれぞれ配置された諸共通配線を相互電気的に連結する共通リンク配線を含むことを特徴とする、請求項8に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記共通配線と前記コンタクト部は、一体に構成されたことを特徴とする、請求項7に記載の液晶表示装置。
- 前記第1及び第2ドメイン上にそれぞれ配置された諸第1画素電極は、相互対称された勾配を持つことを特徴とする、請求項7に記載の液晶表示装置。
