Description
1つの実施例において、溶液におけるヒドラジン濃度が50℃において5ppmから0.2ppmに低下することを実証した。0.0203gの固体の硫酸ヒドラジンを1000gの脱イオン水に添加することによって硫酸ヒドラジンの5ppm原液を調製した。硫酸ヒドラジンを完全に溶解するまで混合した。この5ppm原液に対して、2gのPOLYCLAR(登録商標)Super Rを添加し、50℃で混合した。POLYCLAR(登録商標)Super Rは、ISP(International Speciality Products(Beverage 1361 Alps Road,Wayne,NJ 07470,USA)が販売するPVPPの品目の商品名である。特定の時点において、この溶液の一定分量をこの処理溶液から移し、濾過して、架橋ポリビニルピロリドンを除去した。次いで、溶液をヒドラジン含有量について分析した。T.A.LaRue of the National Research Council of Canada,Prarie Regional Laboratory(Saskatoon,Saskatchewan,Canada)に教示されている比色分析手順を使用することによりヒドラジン分析を行った。この分析のための化学処理、試薬および手順は、文献「Selective spot test for hydrazine」,Talanta,1967,Vol.14,pp.1344 to 1346,Pergamon Press Ltd.に概説されている。この文献は、N.R.C.No.9756としても発行されている。この分析の検出限界は0.25ppmである。
次に、本発明の態様を示す。
1. 架橋ポリビニルピロリドンと、約10000ppm未満のヒドラジン化合物を含む溶液とを接触させる工程を含む、ヒドラジン化合物を溶液から除去する方法。
2. 前記架橋ポリビニルピロリドンを前記溶液から除去する工程をさらに含む上記1に記載の方法。
3. 前記架橋ポリビニルピロリドンが、濾過、遠心、沈降またはそれらの任意の組合せによって除去される上記2に記載の方法。
4. 前記溶液が、水およびヒドラジン化合物を含む上記3に記載の方法。
5. 前記溶液が、水、ヒドラジン化合物およびポリマーを含む上記3に記載の方法。
6. 前記ヒドラジン化合物が、ヒドラジン、モノメチルヒドラジンおよび1,1ジメチルヒドラジンの1種または複数種を含む上記5に記載の方法。
7. 前記ポリマーが、ラテックスの形である上記5に記載の方法。
8. 前記ポリマーが、ポリオキサジアゾール、ポリ(m−フェニレン−1,3,4−オキサジアゾール)、ポリ(p−フェニレン−1,3,4−オキサジアゾール)、ポリ(2,6−ナフタレン−1,3,4−オキサジアゾール)、ポリ(1,4’−ビフェニレン−1,3,4−オキサジアゾール)、ポリ(4,4’−オキシビスフェニレン−1,3,4−オキサジアゾール)、ポリ(4,4’−アゾベンゼン−1,3,4−オキサジアゾール)、ポリ(4,4’−スチルベン−1,3,4−オキサジアゾール)およびポリ(1,4−フェニレンジアクリル−1,3,4−オキサジアゾール)の1種または複数種を含む上記5に記載の方法。
9. 前記溶液が、少なくとも約25℃から最大で約120℃に加熱される上記3に記載の方法。
10. 前記溶液が、撹拌される上記3に記載の方法。
11. 前記溶液が、処理流に存在する上記1に記載の方法。
12. 架橋ポリビニルピロリドンを前記処理流から除去する工程をさらに含む上記11に記載の方法。
13. 前記架橋ポリビニルピロリドンが、濾過、遠心、沈降またはそれらの任意の組合せによって除去される上記12に記載の方法。
14. 前記溶液が、前記処理流を、前記架橋ポリビニルピロリドンを含む充填層に通すことによって前記架橋ポリビニルピロリドンと接触させられる上記11に記載の方法。
15. 前記溶液が、水およびヒドラジンを含む上記12に記載の方法。
16. 前記溶液が、水、ヒドラジンおよびポリマーを含む上記12に記載の方法。
17. 前記ヒドラジン化合物が、ヒドラジン、モノメチルヒドラジンおよび1,1ジメチルヒドラジンの1種または複数種を含む上記16に記載の方法。
18. 前記ポリマーが、ラテックスの形である上記16に記載の方法。
19. 前記ポリマーが、ポリオキサジアゾール、ポリ(m−フェニレン−1,3,4−オキサジアゾール)、ポリ(p−フェニレン−1,3,4−オキサジアゾール)、ポリ(2,6−ナフタレン−1,3,4−オキサジアゾール)、ポリ(1,4’−ビフェニレン−1,3,4−オキサジアゾール)、ポリ(4,4’−オキシビスフェニレン−1,3,4−オキサジアゾール)、ポリ(4,4’−アゾベンゼン−1,3,4−オキサジアゾール)、ポリ(4,4’−スチルベン−1,3,4−オキサジアゾール)およびポリ(1,4−フェニレンジアクリル−1,3,4−オキサジアゾール)の1種または複数種を含む上記16に記載の方法。
20. 前記溶液が、少なくとも約25℃から最大で約120℃に加熱される上記12に記載の方法。
Claims (1)
- 架橋ポリビニルピロリドンと、10000ppm未満のヒドラジン化合物を含む溶液とを接触させる工程を含む、ヒドラジン化合物を溶液から除去する方法。
