Description
200μmの湿潤フィルムをガラスプレート上に塗工し、10分間室温で乾燥させ、10分間80℃で強制乾燥させ、さらに25分間130℃で強制乾燥させると、表5aに示すような性質が見られた。
Claims (10)
- (メタ)アクリルコポリマーの水希釈性混合物であって、当該(メタ)アクリルコポリマーが、40mg/g〜250mg/gのヒドロキシル価、15mg/g〜80mg/gの酸価、9kg/mol〜40kg/molの重量平均モル質量Mw、及び−40℃〜80℃のガラス転移温度Tgを有し、アルキル基中に1〜8個の炭素原子を有する、オレフィン性不飽和カルボン酸の少なくとも1種のアルキルエステルAと、オレフィン性不飽和カルボン酸の少なくとも1種のヒドロキシ官能性アルキルエステルBと、ヒドロキシ官能基及びカルボキシル官能基の双方を有するか、またはラクトン若しくは環状ラクトンである少なくとも1種の脂肪族化合物Cと、オレフィン性不飽和カルボン酸に由来の部位を含まない少なくとも1種のビニルモノマーDと、少なくとも1種のオレフィン性不飽和カルボン酸Eとを含む重合モノマーに基づくものであり、該混合物が、以下のようなモノマーA、B、C及びDに由来の部位の質量分率:Aに関しては5%〜35%、Bに関しては15%〜40%、Cに関しては2%〜20%、及びDに関しては25%〜55%を有するヒドロキシ官能性コポリマー1と、以下のようなモノマーA、D及びEに由来の部位の質量分率:Aに関しては25%〜80%、Dに関しては10%〜40%、及びEに関しては10%〜50%を有するカルボキシル官能性コポリマー2と、コポリマー2の該カルボキシル基の0.5%〜20%が消費されることによるコポリマー1のコポリマー2とのエステル化の生成物であるコポリマー12とを含むことを特徴とする(メタ)アクリルコポリマーの水希釈性混合物。
- オレフィン性不飽和カルボン酸のエポキシ官能性アルキルエステルFから選ばれた重合モノマーをさらに含む請求項1に記載の(メタ)アクリルコポリマーの水希釈性混合物。
- アルキル基中に9〜40個の炭素原子を有する、オレフィン性不飽和カルボン酸のアルキルエステルGから選ばれた重合モノマーをさらに含む請求項1に記載の(メタ)アクリルコポリマーの水希釈性混合物。
- モノマーAが10%〜40%、モノマーBが5%〜35%、モノマーCが1%〜25%、モノマーDが20%〜50%、かつモノマーEが2%〜20%の各質量分率で、全質量分率の合計を100%として、前記各モノマーに由来の各部位を含む請求項1に記載の(メタ)アクリルコポリマーの水希釈性混合物。
- モノマーAが10%〜50%、モノマーBが5%〜35%、モノマーCが1%〜25%、モノマーDが20%〜50%、モノマーEが2%〜20%、かつモノマーFが0.1%〜3.0%の各質量分率で、全質量分率の合計を100%として、前記各モノマーに由来の各部位を含む請求項2に記載の(メタ)アクリルコポリマーの水希釈性混合物。
- モノマーAが10%〜50%、モノマーBが5%〜35%、モノマーCが1%〜25%、モノマーDが20%〜50%、モノマーEが2%〜20%、かつモノマーGが0.2%〜15%の各質量分率で、全質量分率の合計を100%として、前記各モノマーに由来の各部位を含む請求項3に記載の(メタ)アクリルコポリマーの水希釈性混合物。
- 請求項1に記載のコポリマー混合物の二段階反応による製造方法であって、第1の工程において、A、B、C、及びDの各群のそれぞれの少なくとも1種のモノマーを含有するモノマー混合物を重合してヒドロキシ官能性コポリマー1を得ることによってヒドロキシ官能性アクリレートコポリマー1を調製し、別個の第2の工程において、A、D、及びEの各群のそれぞれの少なくとも1種のモノマーを含有するモノマー混合物を重合することによってカルボキシル官能性コポリマー2を調製し、第3の連続工程において、エステル化条件下でコポリマー1とコポリマー2との間の縮合反応を行い、コポリマー2のカルボキシル基がコポリマー1のヒドロキシル基とのエステル化によって消費され、コポリマー2の該カルボキシル基の0.5%〜20%が消費されることで、未反応のコポリマー1と未反応のコポリマー2とを含む混合物中にポリマー12を生成する製造方法。
- 前記のヒドロキシ官能性コポリマー1の調製において、前記F及びG両群のモノマーの少なくとも1種が前記モノマー混合物中にさらに存在しており、前記群Fのモノマーがオレフィン性不飽和カルボン酸のエポキシ官能性アルキルエステルであり、前記モノマーGがアルキル基中に9〜40個の炭素原子を有するオレフィン性不飽和カルボン酸のアルキルエステルである請求項7に記載の製造方法。
- 前記コポリマー混合物を、水性アルカリ、アンモニア及び有機アミンからなる群より選ばれた中和剤を添加することによって中和する請求項7又8に記載の製造方法。
- 塗料の製造における請求項1に記載のコポリマー混合物のバインダとしての使用方法であって、水性アルカリ、アンモニア及び有機アミンからなる群より選ばれた中和剤を添加することによって請求項1に記載の該コポリマー混合物を中和すること、水で希釈すること、架橋剤、脱泡剤、湿潤剤、均展剤、融合助剤、分散助剤、及び沈降防止剤、顔料及び充填剤からなる群より選ばれた少なくとも1種の添加剤を添加すること、並びに該混合物を均質化することを含む使用方法。
