Description
特に侵食性の鋳肌を有するねずみ鋳鉄を切削する場合には、これまで公知の切削材料では短時間後に深いノッチが形成される。この磨耗は、主に化学的磨耗、即ち切削工具の材料と未完成製品の材料との化学反応によって惹起される。これとは異なり、本発明による材料は、著しく長い可使時間後に初めてこの種の磨耗を示す。
Claims (14)
- α−SiAlONおよびβ−SiAlONならびに部分結晶の粒子境界相からなる成分A80〜95体積%と、球状の平均粒径5μm未満の硬質材料からなる成分B5〜20体積%とを有する材料であって、
この材料は、焼結体中で外側から内側に向かって低下しているα−SiAlON勾配を有し、焼結された表面と1550HV10を上廻る硬度を有した焼結体であり、前記焼結された表面は100%までの含量でα−SiAlONを有し、
前記硬質材料はSiCであって焼結後にそのままの状態を有し、
前記粒子境界相は、含量が10体積%未満で、アルミニウム含有メリライトまたは二珪酸塩の結晶相を有し、
前記焼結体は、内部で15〜50体積%のα−SiAlONと50〜85体積%のβ−SiAlONを有している材料。 - 粒子境界相の含量が5体積%未満である、請求項1記載の材料。
- 粒子境界相がアルミニウム含有メリライトを含有する、請求項1記載の材料。
- α−SiAlON粒子およびβ−SiAlON粒子の最大寸法が90μm未満である、請求項1記載の材料。
- 材料が磨耗を減少させる層で被覆されている、請求項1記載の材料。
- 粉末混合、成形、焼結および研磨による、請求項1記載の材料の製造法。
- 成分Aは熱処理中に1800〜2000℃の温度および0.5〜5時間の最大温度での保持時間で生成される、請求項6記載の方法。
- 焼結は、不活性雰囲気で行なわれる、請求項6記載の方法。
- 請求項6の製造法により製造された材料。
- 磨耗を減少させる層が、Al 2 O 3 、TiNまたはTiCの少なくとも1つを有する、請求項5記載の材料。
- 焼結は、N2またはN2と別の不活性ガスとからなる混合物を含有するガス雰囲気で行なわれる、請求項8記載の方法。
- 不活性ガスがアルゴンを含有する、請求項8記載の方法。
- α−SiAlONおよびβ−SiAlONならびに部分結晶の粒子境界相からなる成分A80〜95体積%と、球状の平均粒径30μm未満の硬質材料からなる成分B5〜20体積%とを有する材料であって、
この材料は、焼結体中で外側から内側に向かって低下しているα−SiAlON勾配を有し、焼結された表面と1550HV10を上廻る硬度を有した焼結体であり、前記焼結された表面は100%までの含量でα−SiAlONを有し、
前記硬質材料はSiCであって焼結後にそのままの状態を有し、
前記粒子境界相は、含量が10体積%未満で、アルミニウム含有メリライトまたは二珪酸塩の結晶相を有し、
前記焼結体は、内部で15〜50体積%のα−SiAlONと50〜85体積%のβ−SiAlONを有している材料。 - 硬質材料の平均粒径15μm未満である、請求項13記載の材料。
