Description
Claims (4)
- 車両の車幅方向の左右に隔てて配置されそれぞれが個別配光パターンを形成可能な左灯具ユニットと右灯具ユニットと、前記左灯具ユニットと前記右灯具ユニットとを制御して前記各個別配光パターンの形状を制御するパターン制御部と、を含む車両用前照灯装置であって、
前記左灯具ユニットと前記右灯具ユニットはそれぞれ、
投影レンズを介して車両前方へ光を照射可能な光源と、
前記光源の光軸に対し進退可能であり、進出位置において前記光源の光の一部を遮ってロービーム用配光パターンを形成し、退避位置においてハイビーム用配光パターンの一部形状の形成を許容する可動シェードと、
前記可動シェードを進退移動させるシェード移動機構と、
前記可動シェードが退避位置にある場合に前記ハイビーム用配光パターンの一部形状を遮光する固定シェードと、
を含み、
前記左灯具ユニットの前記固定シェードは前記ハイビーム用配光パターンにおける光軸より左側の領域を形成し、前記右灯具ユニットの前記固定シェードは前記ハイビーム用配光パターンにおける光軸より右側の領域を形成し、
前記パターン制御部は、前記左灯具ユニットと右灯具ユニットの各シェード移動機構を制御して各個別配光パターンの形状を決定すると共に各個別配光パターンを重畳して合成配光パターンの形状を決定することを特徴とする車両用前照灯装置。 - 前記可動シェード及び固定シェードの車幅方向の形状は、前記投影レンズの後方焦点面の湾曲形状に対応して湾曲していることを特徴とする請求項1記載の車両用前照灯装置。
- 前記可動シェードの進出位置における光の遮蔽境界となる稜線部は、前記投影レンズの後方焦点面に沿って配置されることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の車両用前照灯装置。
- 前記シェード移動機構は、前記パターン制御部の非制御時に前記可動シェードを前記進出位置に優先移動させることを特徴とする請求項1から3のいずれか1項に記載の車両用前照灯装置。
