Claims (8)
- 交流電力を脈流に変え、且つ平滑手段にて平滑された直流をパルスに変換したあと昇圧し、昇圧された高圧交流を高圧の低リップルの高圧直流電力に変換する高圧直流電源により、前記低リップルの高圧直流電力をマグネトロンに供給し、前記マグネトロンからマイクロ波を発生し、共振器中の無電極放電ランプを前記マイクロ波で励起する無電極放電ランプ点灯方法において、前記低リップルの高圧直流電力の供給開始から前記無電極放電ランプの放電が安定するまでのスタート期間では、前記低リップルの高圧直流電力の供給を徐々に増加させるとともに、前記低リップルの高圧直流電力の供給を繰り返し停止させ、前記無電極放電ランプの放電が安定した後の安定状態期間では、前記低リップルの高圧直流電力の異常電圧を検知したとき、前記マグネトロンへの前記低リップルの高圧直流電力の供給を一時的に停止させることを特徴とする無電極放電ランプ点灯方法。
- 前記安定状態期間では、前記マグネトロンの電極電圧が規定の値より1%以上上昇した時に異常と検知することを特徴とする請求項1記載の無電極放電ランプ点灯方法。
- 前記スタート期間では、前記高圧直流電力を徐々に増大させて平坦に保持し、そしてまた徐々に増大させることを特徴とする請求項1記載の無電極放電ランプ点灯方法。
- 前記高圧直流電力の供給停止時間は、前記高圧直流電力が印加されるオン時間より短いことを特徴とする請求項1記載の無電極放電ランプ点灯方法。
- 前記高圧直流電力の供給停止時間は、0.1ミリ秒から20ミリ秒の範囲であることを特徴とする請求項4記載の無電極放電ランプ点灯方法。
- 前記スタート期間では、一定の周期または不規則的な間隔で、前記高圧直流電力の供給を繰り返し停止させることを特徴とする請求項1記載の無電極放電ランプ点灯方法。
- 減光時には、前記低リップルの高圧直流電力を徐々に減少させるとともに、前記低リップルの高圧直流電力の供給を繰り返し停止させることを特徴とする請求項1記載の無電極放電ランプ点灯方法。
- 減光からの復帰時には、前記低リップルの高圧直流電力を徐々に増加させるとともに、前記低リップルの高圧直流電力の供給を繰り返し停止させることを特徴とする請求項1記載の無電極放電ランプ点灯方法。
