吸気が流動する吸気通路と、
前記吸気通路の周方向に沿って延びて環状に形成されて内側に前記吸気通路を囲む環状流路と、
前記吸気通路と前記環状流路との間に形成され、前記吸気通路と前記環状流路とを連通する流入口と、
前記環状流路に連通し、前記周方向のうち一方向に流れるように前記排出ガスを該環状流路内に導く排出ガス導入路と
を具備し、
前記環状流路の前記流入口と対向する底面の前記一方向を横切る幅において前記排出ガス導入流路から前記環状流路に流入する排気ガスの流れに対し上流側より下流側を小さくした
ことを特徴とする排気還流装置。

前記流入口の前記吸気通路の上流側開口縁部を形成する前記環状流路の内壁面と前記吸気通路の内壁面とがなす角度より、前記流入口の前記吸気通路の下流側開口縁部を形成する前記環状流路の内壁面と前記吸気通路の内壁面とがなす角度を大きくした
ことを特徴とする付記1に記載の排気還流装置。

前記流入口の前記吸気通路の上流側開口縁部側に前記吸気通路の流路断面積を小さくする絞り部が形成された
ことを特徴とする付記1又は2に記載の排気還流装置。

前記環状流路の前記一方向を横切る前記流入口の幅は、該一方向に沿って下流に進むにつれて長くなる
ことを特徴とする付記1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の排気還流装置。

前記環状流路において前記一方向を横切る流路断面が、該一方向に沿って下流に進むにつれて小さくなる
ことを特徴とする付記1〜4のうちのいずれか1項に記載の排気還流装置。
Claims (5)
- 吸気が流動する吸気通路と、
前記吸気通路の周方向に沿って延びて環状に形成されて内側に前記吸気通路を囲む環状流路と、
前記吸気通路と前記環状流路との間に形成され、前記吸気通路と前記環状流路とを前記周方向の全域で環状に連通する流入口と、
前記吸気通路の軸心線に垂直な断面における前記環状流路の接線方向に沿って該環状流路に連通し、前記周方向のうち一方向に流れるように前記排出ガスを該環状流路内に導く排出ガス導入路と
を具備し、
前記環状流路の前記流入口と対向する底面の前記一方向を横切る幅において前記排出ガス導入流路から前記環状流路に流入する排出ガスの流れに対し上流側より下流側を小さくし、該流入口の各部位から前記吸気通路に流入する排出ガスの量を略均一とする
ことを特徴とする排気還流装置。 - 前記流入口の前記吸気通路の上流側開口縁部を形成する前記環状流路の内壁面と前記吸気通路の内壁面とがなす角度より、前記流入口の前記吸気通路の下流側開口縁部を形成する前記環状流路の内壁面と前記吸気通路の内壁面とがなす角度を大きくした
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の排気還流装置。 - 前記流入口の前記吸気通路の上流側開口縁部側に前記吸気通路の流路断面積を小さくする絞り部が形成された
ことを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の排気還流装置。 - 前記環状流路の前記一方向を横切る前記流入口の幅は、該一方向に沿って下流に進むにつれて長くなる
ことを特徴とする請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の排気還流装置。 - 前記環状流路において前記一方向を横切る流路断面が、該一方向に沿って下流に進むにつれて小さくなる
ことを特徴とする請求項1〜4のうちのいずれか1項に記載の排気還流装置。
