Description
Claims (11)
- 長手方向軸線およびこれを中心とする回転方向を持ったフライスであって、
前部刃先と、
この前部刃先から後方に延在し、略円柱状の外周包絡面を生成するような少なくとも1つの第1切れ刃と、
前記前部刃先から後方に延在し、前記長手方向軸線に沿って前記前部刃先から離れるように進んだ場合に径方向外側に傾く略円錐台状の第1外周包絡面を生成するような少なくとも1つの第2切れ刃と、
前記前部刃先から後方に延在し、前記長手方向軸線に沿って前記前部刃先から離れるように進んだ場合に径方向内側に傾く略円錐台状の第2外周包絡面を生成するような少なくとも1つの第3切れ刃と
を具えたことを特徴とするフライス。 - 後部刃先をさらに具え、前記略円柱状の外周包絡面は単一の円柱半径を有し、前記略円錐台状の第1外周包絡面は前記後部刃先に接する第1テーパー終端半径を有し、前記略円錐台状の第2外周包絡面は前記前部刃先に接する第2テーパー先端半径を有し、前記第1テーパー終端半径および前記第2テーパー先端半径が前記円柱半径に少なくともほぼ等しいことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のフライス。
- 後部刃先をさらに具え、前記略円柱状の外周包絡面は円柱半径を有し、前記略円錐台状の第1外周包絡面は前記前部刃先に接する第1テーパー先端半径を有し、前記略円錐台状の第2外周包絡面は前記後部刃先に接する第2終端半径を有し、前記第1テーパー先端半径および前記第2終端半径は前記円柱半径よりも小さいことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のフライス。
- 長手方向軸線およびこれを中心とする回転方向を持ったフライスであって、
前部刃先を有する切削部と、
この切削部の外縁部を囲んで固定される複数のインサートと
を具え、これら複数の切削インサートのそれぞれは、前部刃先に接する前端部から後端部まで後方に延在する外縁端を具え、
各外縁端はフライスが回転した場合にこれに対応した外周包絡面を生成するようになっており、
第1の対応した外周包絡面が略円柱状の外周包絡面を具え、第2の対応した外周包絡面が前記長手方向軸線に沿って前記前部刃先から離れて進んだ場合に径方向外側に傾く円錐台状の外周包絡面を具え、前記第1の対応した外周包絡面が円柱半径を有し、前記第2の対応した外周包絡面が前記後端部に接するテーパー終端半径を有し、これが前記円柱半径に少なくともほぼ等しいことを特徴とするフライス。 - 前記長手方向軸線に沿って前記前部刃先から離れて進んだ場合に径方向内側に傾く円錐台状の外周包絡面を具えた第3の対応した外周包絡面をさらに具えていることを特徴とする請求項4に記載のフライス。
- 前記第1の対応した外周包絡面は円柱半径を有し、前記第3の対応した外周包絡面は前記前端部に接する先端半径を有し、これが前記円柱半径に少なくともほぼ等しいことを特徴とする請求項5に記載のフライス。
- 前記複数のインサートが少なくとも6つのインサートを具えたことを特徴とする請求項4に記載のフライス。
- 相互に向かい合わせに配された少なくとも2つの外周切れ刃が略円柱状の外周包絡面を生成することを特徴とする請求項5に記載のフライス。
- 前記第2の対応した外周包絡面と前記第3の対応した外周包絡面とを含むグループのうちの少なくとも一方を生成するような少なくとも1つの外周切れ刃が、相互に背中合わせに配された前記略円柱状の外周包絡面を生成する前記少なくとも2つの第1外周切れ刃の間に配されていることを特徴とする請求項8に記載のフライス。
- 前記複数の切削インサートの少なくともいくつかを前記前部刃先から取り外すことができることを特徴とする請求項4に記載のフライス。
- すべての前記切削インサートがほぼ同一であることを特徴とする請求項4に記載のフライス。
