Claims (5)
- 一端部に車輪取付フランジを一体に有し、外周にこの車輪取付フランジから肩部を介して軸方向に延びる小径段部が形成されたハブ輪と、
このハブ輪の小径段部に圧入され、複列の転がり軸受からなる車輪用軸受とがユニット化された車輪用軸受装置であって、
前記車輪用軸受が、内周に複列の外側転走面が形成された外方部材と、
前記肩部に衝合した状態で前記小径段部に所定のシメシロを介して圧入され、外周に前記複列の外側転走面に対向する内側転走面が形成された一対の内輪と、
前記両転走面間に保持器を介して転動自在に収容された複列の転動体とを備え、
前記小径段部の端部を径方向外方に塑性変形させて形成した加締部により前記内輪が前記ハブ輪に対して軸方向に固定された車輪用軸受装置において、
前記ハブ輪の肩部に、前記一対の内輪のうちアウター側の内輪の大端面との突き当て部が形成されると共に、
前記一対の内輪の大端面側の内径端部に所定の面取り部が形成され、これら面取り部の大きさが左右で異なり、インナー側の内輪の大端面の面取り部がアウター側の内輪の大端面の面取り部よりも小さく設定されていることを特徴とする車輪用軸受装置。 - 前記ハブ輪の肩部と小径段部との隅部が、複数の曲率半径からなる複合Rで構成されている請求項1に記載の車輪用軸受装置。
- 前記複合Rが2つの曲率半径a、bからなり、一方の曲率半径aは、前記隅部を単一Rで構成した場合の最大曲率半径cよりも小さく、他方の曲率半径bは前記曲率半径cよりも大きくなるように設定されている請求項2に記載の車輪用軸受装置。
- 前記インナー側の内輪の面取り部が1.0〜2.5mmの範囲の曲率半径からなる円弧面を備えている請求項1乃至3いずれかに記載の車輪用軸受装置。
- 前記小径段部の端部外周に、断面が円弧状をなし、前記内輪の面取り部にかかる環状溝が形成されると共に、前記小径段部における加締前の端部の肉厚が先端に向って漸増する形状に形成されている請求項1乃至4いずれかに記載の車輪用軸受装置。
