Description
信号の伝搬速度 v=c/√ε (c:光速 ε:有効比誘電率)
であるので、一方のコア電線の有効比誘電率ε1を、例えば、1.6とすると、このコア電線における信号の伝搬速度v1は、2.37×105(km/s)で、遅延時間(1m)は4216psである。これに、100psの時間差を加えた4316psの遅延時間を、他方のコア電線に生じさせるような有効比誘電率を上記の式から求める。この場合の信号の伝搬速度v2は、2.31×105(km/s)で、この伝搬速度を得るのに必要な有効比誘電率1.68が算出される。前記の他方のコア電線の有効比誘電率ε2を、上記の算出された1.68とすることにより、物理長が1mの2本のコア電線間で、100psのスキューを生じさせることができる。
実施例1 :図1の本発明によるシールドされた2心平衡ケーブル(2本の信号導体の離間距離dを狭めた形態)。
比較例1a:図4に示す従来のシールドされた2心平衡ケーブル。
比較例1b:100ps/mのスキューを与えた2本のコア電線。
Claims (3)
- 内部導体を第1の絶縁層により絶縁被覆した2本のコア電線を対にして、その周囲を外部導体で覆い、前記外部導体の外周を第2の絶縁層で被覆した所定の特性インピーダンスを有する2心平衡ケーブルであって、前記第1の絶縁層と前記外部導体との間に絶縁テープの巻付けにより、前記第1の絶縁層の厚さの1.14〜1.18倍の厚さの第3の絶縁層を配し、前記第1の絶縁層と前記第3の絶縁層とで前記所定の特性インピーダンスとなるように構成したことを特徴とする2心平衡ケーブル。
- 前記第1の絶縁層に対する前記第3の絶縁層の誘電率の比が0.7〜1.3であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の2心平衡ケーブル。
- 前記第3の絶縁層と前記外部導体との間にドレインワイヤを配したことを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の2心平衡ケーブル。
