Description
溶融塩は、芳香族カチオンを有する塩(イミダゾリウム塩またはピリジニウム塩等)、脂肪族第四級アンモニウム塩及びスルホニウム塩を含む。
イオン伝導性の測定を室温での交流インピーダンス方式で行なった。例として、電池を、カソード電気活性物質LiCoO2を備えるカソードと、伝導物質としてのアセチレンブラックと、バインダとしてのPVdFを有するラミネートセルとして構成した(例1)。カソード集電体はアルミニウムホイルであった。アノードは、アノード活物質Li4Ti5O12と、伝導物質としてのアセチレン・ブラックと、バインダとしてPVdFを備えた。アノード集電体はアルミニウムホイルであった。電解質は、混合物として60モル%のEMl−TFSI及び40モル%のEMCと、カチオン源としてのリチウム塩Li−TFSI(Li(CF3SO2)2N)、1.25Mを含んでいた。セパレータはポリプロピレン多孔性皮膜であった。
Claims (5)
- 負極と、正極と、カチオンを輸送するためのカチオン伝導性を有する電解質とを備えるリチウムイオン電池であって、
前記電解質が、溶融塩と、カチオン源としてのリチウム塩と、電解質添加剤とを含み、
前記カチオン源としてのリチウム塩とは別に、前記電解質添加剤がリチウムイオン以外のアルカリ金属イオン源を含み、
前記電解質添加剤が有機炭酸塩を更に含み、当該有機炭酸塩が前記電解質の全体に対してモルパーセントで40%〜60%であり、
前記電解質添加剤により前記電解質のカチオン伝導性が高められ、同時に、前記電解質が通常の電池動作条件下における電解質の燃焼の危険性に相当する燃焼閾値以下に維持され、
前記電解質は、ポリマーを含んでいない電池。 - 前記電解質添加剤における前記リチウムイオン以外のアルカリ金属イオン源が、カリウム塩、ナトリウム塩、セシウム塩から選択される請求項1に記載の電池。
- 前記電解質添加剤が、フッ化有機炭酸塩を含む請求項1又は2に記載の電池。
- 前記電解質添加剤が、エポキシド、アルコール、アミン、ハロゲン化アルキル、アルカン、アルケン、ニトリル、イミン、ニトロ化合物からなる群から選択される有機化合物を含む請求項1から3のいずれか一項に記載の電池。
- 前記電解質添加剤が、前記電解質添加剤を有していない基準の電解質に比べて前記電解質のイオン伝導性を少なくとも3倍にする請求項1から4のいずれか一項に記載の電池。
