Description
本発明は航空機の窓に関し、より特定的には航空機用耐力窓アセンブリに関する。
ほとんどの民間航空機内の客席の窓は、比較的サイズが小さい。これは、部分的には現在の透明な窓の材料の性能が限られていることに起因し、さらに、航空機のフレームにおいてこれらの窓を支持するために必要な、重く複雑な支持構造に起因する。
航空機に用いられる耐力窓は、炭素強化樹脂構造を有するリム部分、およびガラス繊維強化樹脂構造を有する透明部分を含む。複数のコネクタがリム部分に位置する。リム部分の断面積が透明部分より小さいことにより、リム部分が航空機の外皮の後ろに適合し、透明部分は航空機の外皮と同一平面にあるよう適合され、コネクタは航空機の外皮に固定されるよう適合される。
好ましい実施例の下記の説明は、性質上単に例示的であり、本発明、その適用例、または使用例を限定する意図は全くない。
。しかしながら、耐力窓10は航空機12のいずれの部分に用いられてもよく、コックピット窓またはドア窓を含んでもよいことが認識される。航空機12は、一般に耐力窓10を囲む機体外皮14を含む。従来の先行技術の側窓は、仮想的な線で図1に示され、一般に参照番号16によって表示される。明らかなように、耐力窓10は従来の先行技術の側窓16より視界が大きい。
の構築方法に追加で修正がなされる必要は、ほとんど、または全くない。
Claims (7)
- 移動プラットホーム(12)で使用するための複合材耐久窓アセンブリ(10)であって、
前記移動プラットホームの外皮(14)と、
第1強化樹脂構造を有する複合材リム部分(18)と、
第2強化樹脂構造を有する複合材透明窓部分(20)であって、前記複合材リム部(18)が前記複合材透明窓部分と一体的に形成されるとともに、周囲にステップ部を形成する複合材透明窓部分(20)と、
前記複合材リム部分(18)に位置して複数のコネクタを受け入れる複数の孔(23)と、
を有して構成される耐久窓アセンブリ(10)において、
前記複合材リム部分(18)は前記複合材透明窓部分(20)より小さい断面領域を有し、それにより、前記複合材リム部分(18)が、前記コネクタ(22)を用いて前記移動プラットホーム(12)の外皮(14)に結合され、
前記複合材リム部分は、前記移動プラットホーム(12)の外皮の内面(28)に直接的に接触しており、前記周囲のステップ部は、前記複合材透明窓部分(20)を前記外皮(14)の外面と面一にすることを可能にし、前記コネクタ(22)が前記移動プラットホームの外皮(14)に固定され、前記外皮の内面と前記複合材リム部分(18)の外周縁部との間に第1のシール(32)が設けられる耐久窓アセンブリ(10)。 - 前記複数のコネクタ(22)は、前記複合材リム部分のまわりに複列で延在する、請求項1に記載の耐力窓アセンブリ。
- 前記耐力窓(10)は、航空機においてモジュール式継当てとして用いられるよう適合される、請求項1又は2に記載の耐力窓アセンブリ。
- 前記複合材リム部分(18)は強化剤として炭素を含む、請求項1ないし3のいずれかに記載の耐力窓アセンブリ。
- 前記複合材透明窓部分(20)はガラス繊維を含み、前記ガラス繊維および前記樹脂はほぼ等しい屈折率を有する、請求項1ないし4のいずれかに記載の耐力窓アセンブリ。
- 請求項1ないし5の何れかに記載の複合材耐力窓アセンブリ(10)を有する航空機(12)であって、
内面(28)、外面(30)及びフランジのない開口部を有する機体外皮(14)と、
前記機体外皮(14)内に取り付けられる前記耐力窓(10)と、
を有して構成される航空機において、
前記複数のコネクタ(22)は、前記複合材リム部分が前記フランジのない開口部に隣接して前記内面(28)に一致し、前記複合材透明窓部分(20)が前記外面(30)と面一になるように、前記機体外皮(14)に固定され、
前記コネクタ(22)が、前記耐久窓(10)を前記複合材リム部分(18)及び前記複合材透明窓部分(20)を通じて前記機体外皮(14)に固定する航空機。 - 前記機体外皮(14)の前記外面(30)と前記耐力窓(10)の前記透明部分(20)との間に設けられた第2のシール(34)をさらに含む請求項6に記載の航空機。
