Description
更に、インタークーラの背面とラジエータサポートとの間の隙間が張出部により一緒に塞がれるので、インタークーラの背面とラジエータサポートとの間の隙間からインタークーラを通過せずに外気が流入するような事態が起こらなくなり、冷却ファンの吸引により効率良くインタークーラを空冷することが可能となる。
また、エンジンにぶつかった風が熱風となってラジエータサポートの外側を回り込み、インタークーラの背面とラジエータサポートとの間の隙間からラジエータの前に吹き返す流れも防止されるため、ラジエータの冷却性能がより一層確実に向上されることになる。

Claims (2)
- 上下に離間配置されて相互間に放熱部を備えたアッパタンクとロアタンクの幅端部同士を上下方向に延びる一対のラジエータサポートにより連結し、該各ラジエータサポートを介してシャシフレーム側からラジエータを支持すると共に、該ラジエータの前面にインタークーラを装備した構造において、ラジエータの放熱部とラジエータサポートとの間の隙間を気密に塞ぐシール手段を設け、該シール手段にインタークーラの背面とラジエータサポートとの間の隙間を一緒に塞ぎ得るように前方に向けて張り出す張出部を増設したことを特徴とするラジエータシール構造。
- ラジエータの放熱部とラジエータサポートとの間の隙間の形状に合わせて型成形されたウレタンスポンジによりシール手段が構成されていることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のラジエータシール構造。
