Description
図1は本発明の第1の実施の形態による抵抗膜方式タッチパネルを示す斜視図、図2は図1の抵抗膜方式タッチパネルの可動電極のみを外した分解組み立て斜視図、図3は図1の抵抗膜方式タッチパネルの端部分の断面図である。
図4(a)は本発明の第2の実施の形態による抵抗膜方式タッチパネルの固定電極の一面を示す図で、図4(b)は抵抗膜方式タッチパネルの固定電極の他の一面を示す図、及び図5は傷を樹脂材料で覆った状態を示す部分断面図である。
本発明の第3の実施の形態では、固定電極2、可動電極3の両方にガラスを使用した抵抗膜方式タッチパネルである。ここで、第3の実施の形態では、固定電極2に用いられるガラスを第1のガラス板と呼び、可動電極3に用いられるガラスを第2のガラス板と呼ぶ。図4(a)及び図4(b)に示す固定電極2と同様に、可動電極3も同様な構成とし、それぞれの第1及び第2のガラス板の端部に樹脂材料5で覆って構成されている。本発明の第3の実施の形態においても、第1及び第2の実施の形態と同様の効果が得られる。
本発明の第4の実施の形態では、固定電極2及び可動電極3の両方にガラスを第1のガラス板及び第2のガラス板として、夫々使用した抵抗膜方式タッチパネルである。封止テープ1で貼り合せた後に、第1及び第2のガラスの両方の端面のみを樹脂材料5で覆って構成されている。本発明の第4の実施の形態においても、第1乃至第3の実施の形態と同様の効果が得られる。
本発明の第5の実施の形態では、抵抗膜方式ではなく、静電容量結合方式もしくは超音波方式のタッチパネルに本発明を適用したものである。

Claims (2)
- 封止部材を介して互いに対向する一面を夫々備えた可動電極と固定電極とを備え、前記固定電極にはガラス板を用いたタッチパネルにおいて、前記封止部材を前記固定電極の前記一面の内側縁面から外側に向かって延長して、前記固定電極の一端の一辺で折れ曲がり、前記固定電極の端面覆い、前記固定電極の前記一端の他の一辺で折れ曲がり、前記固定電極の一面に対向する外側の他面の外側縁面を内側に向かって覆ったことを特徴とするタッチパネル。
- 請求項1に記載のタッチパネルにおいて、前記可動電極には合成樹脂板を用いていることを特徴とするタッチパネル。
