Description
請求項1:
セラミック材料100質量部、水溶性セルロースエーテル1〜15質量部、パラスチレンスルホン酸カリウム、パラスチレンスルホン酸ナトリウム、オルトスチレンスルホン酸カリウム、オルトスチレンスルホン酸ナトリウム、メタスチレンスルホン酸カリウム、メタスチレンスルホン酸ナトリウムから選ばれるスチレンスルホン酸塩1〜15質量部、及び水10〜50質量部を含むことを特徴とするセラミック押出成形体用組成物。
請求項2:
前記セラミック材料が、コージェライトセラミック、炭化ケイ素、チタン酸バリウム、チタン酸ジルコン酸鉛、チタン酸アルミニウムから選ばれる請求項1記載のセラミック押出成形体用組成物。
請求項3:
前記水溶性セルロースエーテルが、アルキルセルロース、ヒドロキシアルキルセルロース、ヒドロキシアルキルアルキルセルロースから選ばれる請求項1又は2記載のセラミック押出成形体用組成物。
請求項4:
請求項1乃至3のいずれか1項記載のセラミック押出成形体用組成物を混練し、押出成形後、乾燥及び焼成することを特徴とするセラミック押出成形体の製造方法。
ヒドロキシエチルセルロースの場合には、ヒドロキシエトキシル基25〜65質量%が好ましい。
ヒドロキシプロピルメチルセルロースの場合、メトキシル基20〜35質量%であって、ヒドロキシプロポキシル基1〜20質量%が好ましい。
ヒドロキシエチルメチルセルロースの場合、メトキシル基20〜35質量%であって、ヒドロキシエトキシル基1〜20質量%が好ましい。
ヒドロキシエチルエチルセルロースの場合、エトキシル基10〜50質量%であって、ヒドロキシエトキシル基1〜50質量%が好ましい。
表1に示す水以外の材料をヘンシェル型ミキサーにて3分間混合し、所定量の水を加えた後、4×3/4インチ小型3本ロールミル(井上製作所(株)製)にて水冷により混練物温度15〜25℃となるようにして、5回ロールを通過させて混練し、スクリュー径20mmの小型真空押出成形機にて外径20.5mm、ピッチ2.5mm、壁厚0.5mmのハニカム押出成形を押出圧5〜10MPa、好ましくは7MPaで行い、各押出成形圧力での成形体温度を測定した。
成形物は50mm長さにカットして、電子レンジにて100W、1分処理後毎に押出成形体を上下ひっくり返す作業を6回行った後に熱風による80℃乾燥機内で押出成形体を1時間乾燥した後、亀裂発生有無を確認した。
乾燥後の亀裂の有無を観察して表1に記載した。乾燥品を焼結炉に入れ、500℃で3時間保持して脱バインダーを実施してからアルミナについては1650℃にて3時間保持、炭化ケイ素については、アルゴン等不活性雰囲気下において2100℃で3時間保持、その他の材料についてはマグネシアのサヤに乾燥品を入れ、1400℃にて3時間保持して焼結した。焼結品中の亀裂の状態を「あり」、「なし」で評価して表1に記載した。

- セラミック材料100質量部、水溶性セルロースエーテル1〜15質量部、パラスチレンスルホン酸カリウム、パラスチレンスルホン酸ナトリウム、オルトスチレンスルホン酸カリウム、オルトスチレンスルホン酸ナトリウム、メタスチレンスルホン酸カリウム、メタスチレンスルホン酸ナトリウムから選ばれるスチレンスルホン酸塩1〜15質量部、及び水10〜50質量部を含むことを特徴とするセラミック押出成形体用組成物。
- 前記セラミック材料が、コージェライトセラミック、炭化ケイ素、チタン酸バリウム、チタン酸ジルコン酸鉛、チタン酸アルミニウムから選ばれる請求項1記載のセラミック押出成形体用組成物。
- 前記水溶性セルロースエーテルが、アルキルセルロース、ヒドロキシアルキルセルロース、ヒドロキシアルキルアルキルセルロースから選ばれる請求項1又は2記載のセラミック押出成形体用組成物。
- 請求項1乃至3のいずれか1項記載のセラミック押出成形体用組成物を混練し、押出成形後、乾燥及び焼成することを特徴とするセラミック押出成形体の製造方法。
