Description
本発明において、スズ粉含有コロイド液は、平均粒径(DIA)が2.0μm以下、好ましくは0.01〜1.0μmのスズ粉を含有する。スズ粉の平均粒径が2.0μmを超えると、上記したアトマイズにより得られるスズ粉と同様に、微細回路形成及び微小ビアホールの穴埋め性に欠ける等の問題が生じる。この平均粒径は、スズ粉粒子をFE−SEM(電界放射型走査電子顕微鏡)又はSEM(走査型電子顕微鏡)により撮像し、その像からスズ微粉粒子の直径を測り、撮像倍率から換算して、直接的にスズ粉粒子の粒径を複数個(例えば20個〜100個)測定し、その平均値(DIA)により求められる。
次に、本発明に係るスズ粉含有コロイド液の製造方法について説明する。本発明に係る製造方法では、極性を有する非水溶液に可溶性スズ化合物を添加してスズイオン含有溶液を調製する。可溶性スズ化合物は特に制限されず、塩化第一スズ(SnCl2・2H2O)、硫酸スズ(SnSO4)等が挙げられるが、取り扱い性等の点から塩化第一スズが好ましく用いられる。
表1に示されるように、実施例1でSBH溶液の調製に用いたエタノール500mlに代えて、水500mlを用いた以外は、実施例1と同様にしてスズ粉含有コロイド液を調製した。得られたスズ粉の平均粒径(DIA)、体積累積粒径平均値(D50)、最大粒径(Dmax)及び不純物含有量を実施例1と同様に測定した。結果を表2に示す。
表1に示されるように、A液にB液を一括で添加した以外は、実施例3と同様にしてスズ粉含有コロイド液を調製した。得られたスズ粉の平均粒径(DIA)、体積累積粒径平均値(D50)、最大粒径(Dmax)及び不純物含有量を実施例1と同様に測定した。結果を表2に示す。
特開2003−306707号公報に記載の方法によりスズ粒子を調製した。
塩化第一スズ・2水和物10gとポリビニルピロリドン30gを純水2リットルに溶解させ、塩酸を用いて溶液のpHを1.0以下に調整し、これを母液とした。
Claims (9)
- 極性を有する非水溶液に可溶性スズ化合物を添加してスズイオン含有溶液を調製し、次いで該スズイオン含有溶液を攪拌しつつ、水素化ホウ素ナトリウム溶液を緩やかに添加することを特徴とするスズ粉含有コロイド液の製造方法。
- 上記水素化ホウ素ナトリウム溶液の添加時間が10分〜120分である請求項1に記載のスズ粉含有コロイド液の製造方法。
- 上記非水溶液がメタノール又はエタノールであり、水分含有量が30重量%以下である請求項1又は請求項2に記載のスズ粉含有コロイド液の製造方法。
- 上記可溶性スズ化合物の濃度が0.001モル/l〜0.5モル/lである請求項1〜請求項3のいずれかに記載のスズ粉含有コロイド液の製造方法。
- 上記可溶性スズ化合物1.0モルに対して、上記水素化ホウ素ナトリウムを0.5モル〜5.0モル添加する請求項1〜請求項4のいずれかに記載のスズ粉含有コロイド液の製造方法。
- 上記水素化ホウ素ナトリウムの濃度が1.0モル/l以下である請求項1〜請求項5のいずれかに記載のスズ粉含有コロイド液の製造方法。
- 上記非水溶液に分散剤を添加する請求項1〜請求項6のいずれかに記載のスズ粉含有コロイド液の製造方法。
- 上記分散剤は、ケトン類、アミン類、ポリオール類、エーテル類から選ばれる1種又は2種以上である請求項7に記載のスズ粉含有コロイド液の製造方法。
- 上記可溶性スズ化合物1.0モルに対して、上記分散剤を3.0モル以下添加する請求項7又は請求項8に記載のスズ粉含有コロイド液の製造方法。
