Description
かかる従来の問題点に鑑み、本発明は、超仕上用砥石が揺動しても仕上げムラの発生が抑制される超仕上用砥石を提供することを目的とする。
なお、例えば、被加工物の軌道面を上記複数の断面で見た場合の軌道面形状は、中間の断面でフラットな形状、中間から径方向外方側になるほど徐々に断面の中央が凹んでいく凹形状、及び、中間から径方向内方側になるほど徐々に断面の中央が盛り上がっていく凸形状である。また、超仕上用砥石の砥面を、上記複数の断面で見た場合の砥面形状は、中間の断面でフラットな形状、中間から径方向内方側になるほど徐々に断面の中央が凹んでいく凹形状、及び、中間から径方向外方側になるほど徐々に断面の中央が盛り上がっていく凸形状である。
図1は、超仕上用砥石1を示す図であり、(a)は正面図、(b)は側面図である。また、図2は、斜視図である。各図において、ディスク10の径方向に相当する砥面1aの径方向をY方向として、互いに直交するX,Y,Z方向を図示のようにとると、超仕上用砥石1の砥面1aと反対側の裏面1b並びに、径方向内方側端面1c及び径方向外方側端面1dは平面若しくは略平面である。
する(言い換えれば、径方向内方から外方に向かって、漸次、径方向と直交する方向へ砥面1aの幅が拡がる形状を有する。)。また、両側面1e,1fは、平面に近い緩やかな曲面であり、例えば、曲率半径が僅かに異なる複数の曲面によって構成される。

Claims (2)
- スラストを受ける軌道面が周方向に連続して形成され、径方向における軌道面の断面形状が円弧状である被加工物について、当該軌道面を超仕上加工する超仕上用砥石であって、
前記軌道面及びこれに接する砥面を、前記被加工物の径方向に直交する複数の断面で見たとき、当該超仕上砥石が前記軌道面に対して径方向に揺動した際に砥面の左右のエッジにおいて当該砥面とこれに接する前記軌道面との間に形成される交差角度が均一化されるように、径方向外方から内方に向かって漸次、前記断面における砥面の幅が狭くなる形状を有する超仕上用砥石。 - 前記被加工物の軌道面を、前記複数の断面で見た場合の軌道面形状は、中間の断面でフラットな形状、中間から径方向外方側になるほど徐々に断面の中央が凹んでいく凹形状、及び、中間から径方向内方側になるほど徐々に断面の中央が盛り上がっていく凸形状であり、かつ、
前記超仕上用砥石の砥面を、前記複数の断面で見た場合の砥面形状は、中間の断面でフラットな形状、中間から径方向内方側になるほど徐々に断面の中央が凹んでいく凹形状、及び、中間から径方向外方側になるほど徐々に断面の中央が盛り上がっていく凸形状である、請求項1記載の超仕上用砥石。
