Description
そこで、本発明の目的は、遠距離用と近距離用の2つのセンサを備えるレーダ装置であって、遠距離用と近距離用の2つの検知領域の重複した領域において、受信信号の処理の効率化が可能なレーダ装置を提供することにある。

Claims (2)
- 所定の方向を中心とする第一の検知範囲に電波を送信するための第一の送信部と、前記第一の検知範囲から前記電波の反射波を受信するための第一の受信部と、前記第一の受信部から供給される受信信号を演算処理し、前記第一の検知範囲に存在する物体を検出するための第一の信号処理部とを有する遠距離用レーダセンサと、
前記所定の方向を中心とし、前記第一の検知範囲よりも幅が広く距離が短い第二の検知範囲に電波を送信するための第二の送信部と、前記第二の検知範囲から前記電波の反射波を受信するための第二の受信部と、前記第二の受信部から供給される受信信号を演算処理し、前記第二の検知範囲に存在する物体を検出するための第二の信号処理部とを有する近距離用レーダセンサと、
前記第一及び第二の信号処理部から供給される検出物体の情報を統合する処理部とを備え、
前記第二の送信部は、前記第一及び第二の検知範囲の双方に含まれる重複範囲に対し、電波の送信を停止するように設定されていることを特徴とするレーダ装置。 - 所定の方向を中心とする第一の検知角度範囲に電波を送信するための第一の送信部と、前記第一の検知角度範囲から前記電波の反射波を受信するための第一の受信部と、前記第一の受信部から供給される受信信号を演算処理し、前記第一の検知角度範囲に存在する物体を検出するための第一の信号処理部とを有する遠距離用レーダセンサと、
前記所定の方向を中心とし、前記第一の検知角度範囲よりも角度が広く距離が短く、前記第一の検知角度範囲と一部重複する第二の検知角度範囲に電波を送信するための第二の送信部と、前記第二の検知角度範囲から前記電波の反射波を受信するための第二の受信部と、前記第二の受信部から供給される受信信号を演算処理し、前記第二の検知角度範囲に存在する物体を検出するための第二の信号処理部とを有する近距離用レーダセンサと、
前記第一及び第二の信号処理部から供給される検出物体の情報を統合する処理部とを有し、
前記第一及び第二の信号処理部のいずれか一方は、前記第一及び第二の検知角度範囲の双方に含まれる指定された距離の重複範囲からの反射波に基づく受信信号からの物体の距離及び方向の演算処理を停止すること特徴とするレーダ装置。
