Claims (14)
- 駆動装置の出力軸から遠心クラッチの入力軸に動力を伝達する無段変速機であって、
前記無段変速機は制御装置によって変速比が制御され、
前記制御装置は、前記遠心クラッチが接続しておらず、かつ、前記駆動装置の回転速度が、予め定めた第1回転速度であって前記遠心クラッチの摩擦が不安定であることを示す第1回転速度よりも高い場合に、前記遠心クラッチが接続するように前記無段変速機の変速比をTOP側に制御するクラッチ接続処理を行う、無段変速機。 - 前記制御装置は、前記遠心クラッチが接続しているか否かを判定する第1判定部とを備えた、請求項1に記載の無段変速機。
- 前記第1判定部は、前記遠心クラッチに入力される回転速度と、前記遠心クラッチから出力される回転速度に基づいて、前記遠心クラッチが接続しているか否かを判定する、請求項2に記載の無段変速機。
- 前記制御装置は、
前記駆動装置の回転速度を検出する第1検出部と、
前記遠心クラッチが接続するように無段変速機の変速比をTOP側へ制御する処理を開始する基準となる前記第1回転速度が設定される第1設定部と、
前記第1検出部で検出された駆動装置の回転速度が、前記第1設定部で設定された第1回転速度よりも高いか否かを判定する第2判定部とを備えた、請求項1に記載の無段変速機。 - 前記第1検出部は、前記駆動装置の回転速度を無段変速機の入力軸の回転速度に基づいて検出する、請求項4に記載の無段変速機。
- 前記第1判定部において前記遠心クラッチが接続されたと判定された場合に、前記クラッチ接続処理を解除する、請求項2に記載の無段変速機。
- 前記クラッチ接続処理は第2回転速度が予め設定されており、当該第2回転速度を遠心クラッチに入力される回転速度で除算して、クラッチ接続処理時の目標変速比を設定する、請求項1に記載の無段変速機。
- 前記制御装置は、車速とスロットル開度に基づいて目標エンジン回転速度を算出し、当該目標エンジン回転速度を車速で除算して目標変速比を設定する目標変速比設定部を備えており、
前記クラッチ接続処理は、前記目標変速比設定部で、目標エンジン回転速度に代えて予め定めた前記第2回転速度を用い、車速に代えて遠心クラッチに入力される回転速度を用い、予め定めたクラッチ接続処理用の回転速度を、遠心クラッチに入力される回転速度で除算して、クラッチ接続処理用の目標変速比を設定する処理を行う、請求項7に記載の無段変速機。 - 前記第2回転速度に前記第1回転速度を用いた、請求項7に記載の無段変速機。
- 前記制御装置は、
前記目標変速比設定部によって車速とスロットル開度に基づいて設定される目標変速比が、前記クラッチ接続処理用の目標変速比よりもTOP側である場合に、前記クラッチ接続処理を解除する、請求項8に記載の無段変速機。 - 前記制御装置は、
前記遠心クラッチが接続していることが検出された場合に、前記クラッチ接続処理を解除する、請求項1に記載の無段変速機。 - 前記制御装置は、
前記遠心クラッチが接続していることが検出された場合、又は、前記目標変速比設定部によって車速とスロットル開度に基づいて設定される目標変速比が、前記クラッチ接続処理用の目標変速比よりもTOP側である場合に、前記クラッチ接続処理を解除する、請求項8に記載の無段変速機。 - 前記無段変速機は、それぞれ一対のフランジが軸方向に相対移動し得るプライマリシーブ及びセカンダリシーブに、ベルトが巻き掛けられたベルト式無段変速機であって、
前記プライマリシーブは駆動装置の出力が伝達されるプライマリ軸に配設され、
前記セカンダリシーブは遠心クラッチの入力軸に配設され、
前記プライマリシーブの溝幅に応じて前記ベルトを挟み得るようにセカンダリシーブの溝幅を変化させる従動機構と、
前記プライマリシーブの溝幅を制御する制御装置とを備えた、請求項1から12の何れかに記載の無段変速機。 - 請求項1から12の何れかに記載された無段変速機を備えた自動二輪車、鞍乗型車両、スクータ型車両又はゴルフカー。
