Claims (13)
- 車両の左側及び右側の各側部で各車軸(2,3)を支持する少なくとも1つの空気袋(4〜11)を有する複数車軸車のための空気サスペンションシステムであって、
上記車両の運転状況の変化が起こったときに該車両の車体の状況の変化に対応して、それぞれ、上記左側及び右側の各側部において、上記空気袋(4〜11)への空気の流れを側部毎に制御するための左側及び右側の各レベル制御バルブ(16,17)と、
上記左側及び右側の各側部において、それぞれ上記左側及び右側の各レベル制御バルブと上記各空気袋とを接続する複数の個別空気配管(18〜25,28,29)とを有していて、
上記左側及び右側の各側部において、それぞれ、上記個別空気配管が、上記各空気袋に実質的に同一体積の空気が供給されるようになっていることを特徴とする空気サスペンションシステム。 - 上記各側部において、それぞれ各レベル制御バルブ(16,17)と各分配マニホールド(26,27)との間を接続する第1の個別空気配管(28,29)と、
上記各側部において、それぞれ上記各分配マニホールド(26,27)と上記各空気袋(4〜8)との間を接続する第2の個別空気配管(18〜25)とを有し、
上記各第1の個別空気配管(28,29)が互いに実質的に同一の寸法及び長さを有し、上記各側部において上記各分配マニホールド(26,27)と上記各空気袋(4〜8)との間の上記各第2の個別空気配管(18〜25)が互いに同一の寸法及び長さを有し、これにより、上記各空気袋に実質的に同一体積の空気が供給されて、該車両の運転状況の変化に対する安定性を維持するようになっている、請求項1に記載の空気サスペンションシステム。 - 上記各車軸(2,3)が、該各車軸の上記各側部を支持する1対のサスペンション空気袋(4,5;6,7;8,9;10,11)を有している、請求項1又は2に記載の空気サスペンションシステム。
- 上記各側部の上記空気袋が、隣り合う車軸における同様の位置の空気袋間を伸びている共通空気配管(12〜15)によって付加的に相互接続され、
上記個別空気配管(18〜25)が、上記各空気袋の位置又は該位置の近傍で上記共通空気配管(12〜15)に接続され、上記空気袋と上記共通空気配管とに直接空気を供給するようになっている、請求項3に記載の空気サスペンションシステム。 - 上記各レベル制御バルブ(16,17)が、上記車両の空気供給タンクに接続された、応答性を高めるための個別空気供給配管(30,31)を有している、請求項1〜4のいずれか1つに記載の空気サスペンションシステム。
- 上記個別空気供給配管(30,31)が同一の寸法及び長さを有している、請求項5に記載の空気サスペンションシステム。
- 上記レベル制御バルブが、剛体である共通バー(34)へ伸びている制御手段(32,33)によって駆動され、
上記共通バーは、上記各側部で上記空気袋を1つの車軸に取り付けている手段に固定されている、請求項1〜6のいずれか1つに記載の空気サスペンションシステム。 - 上記各車軸の上記各側部の上記1対の空気袋(4,5;6,7;8,9;10,11)が共通空気配管(12〜15)によって接続され、上記個別空気配管が、上記各空気袋と上記共通空気配管(12〜15)とに接続されている、請求項3に記載の空気サスペンションシステム。
- 上記共通空気配管の容量が上記個別空気配管の容量よりも大きい、請求項4又は8に記載の空気サスペンションシステム。
- 上記共通空気配管の容量が上記個別空気配管の容量の約4倍である、請求項9に記載の空気サスペンションシステム。
- 上記各車軸が、該車軸の一方の側部で単一の空気袋(60,61;62,63)によって支持されている、請求項1に記載の空気サスペンションシステム。
- 上記車両が、駆動される車軸(2,3)を有する原動車である、請求項1〜11のいずれか1つに記載の空気サスペンションシステム。
- 上記車両が、受動軸(41〜43)を有する従動車(40)である、請求項1〜9のいずれか1つに記載の空気サスペンションシステム。
