Claims (2)
- ポリオレフィンを用いた微細合成繊維から成る幅の広い不織布を複数条の不織布にスリットした後、この複数条の不織布を筒状にするフォーミング機構と、
このフォーミングされた不織布を挟み込んで縦シールを施し、筒状の不織布にする縦シール機構と、
この筒状の不織布を挟み込んで横シールを施し、袋状の不織布にしつつ、この不織布袋を下方に搬送すると共に、充填装置によって被包装材料(内容物)が充填された不織布袋の充填口を封止する横シール機構と、
この封止された不織布袋の横シール部分を切り離して個別包装袋とするカッター装置とを備えた縦型多列自動包装機であって、
前記横シール機構は、不織布の横シール予定部分に存在する被包装材料を除去するために、電熱線シール機構の代わりに超音波シール機構を採用し、
この超音波シール機構のシール刃は、この不織布に対して縦幅の細い横シールを施すために、幅の狭い超音波ホーンとアンビルで構成され、
前記超音波横シール機構によって横シールを施す場合は、
この超音波ホーンに超音波エネルギーを瞬間供給すると共に、超音波ホーンとアンビルによる挟み込み圧力を、電熱線シール機構のシール刃によるシール圧力より低い値に設定し、
前記超音波横シール機構によって不織布袋を下方に搬送する場合は、
当該超音波ホーンへの超音波エネルギーの供給を停止すると共に、超音波ホーンとアンビルによる挟み込み圧力を、電熱線シール機構のシール刃によるシール圧力より高い値に設定して、
前記超音波横シール動作は瞬間完了し、直ちに冷えた超音波横シール刃によって不織布袋の搬送動作が実施されることを特徴とする縦型多列自動包装機の横シール機構。 - 前記超音波ホーンとアンビルで構成された横シール機構が不織布を挟み込みながら横シールする場合の圧力は、0.31Mパスカルとし、
前記超音波ホーンとアンビルで構成された横シール機構が不織布を挟み込みながら下方に搬送する場合の圧力は、0.7Mパスカルとすることを特徴とする請求項1記載の縦型多列自動包装機の横シール機構。
